NeoHipo ET30 Review | A Great Amp & Speaker Selector But An Okay-ish VU Meter

- NeoHipo has this beautiful looking VU Meter/Amp & Speaker selector which is called the ET30 and its solved a big problem I've had for a long time! It's very well built and comes with the convenience of having a remote control so I don't have to keep getting up to control it.
The Neohipo ET30 works very well as an Amp & Speaker selector and as much as I like the VU meters, they're not exactly the most accurate ones I've seen for various reasons, but its great to have them dancing along to my music.

To quote The Band..."I can't stand the way he sings but I love to hear him talk". Nice review. I have a set up in my basement with wildly different speakers running through an old HK 9450 AV receiver. One set is Bose 901's (the last series) with it's EQ and the other an old set of Yamaha floorstanders with dual 8" woofers. The Bose's are set up correctly for the room they're in BTW. Something like this would be cool to have but I'm kind of spooked to put anything in the chain between the amp and the speakers. If it has ZERO negative effect I could see something like this being a cool toy ( for the money) but I would never buy this for anything that has been properly set up and calibrated.
I'd live to hear the setup you have! But yea, I agree with what you're saying. It takes a lot of effort to get things just right, and sometimes, it's not worth adding things in the loop. It works great for me since I don't have to keep switching cables now, but yea, if I had a set of 901's, I wouldn't want to mess with it. By the time I realised I wanted to pick up a set, they had discontinued them sadly. Those Yamaha towers must be quite an experience for every listen!

Presently using JBL Tune230 TWS. (rapid battery draining issue cropped up)
Please recommend me a Type C Cable IEM.
Requirement: I prefer slight bass (not too heavy) but with very balanced, detailed neutral sound staging, where I can notice the immersive experience of instrument separation and nuances.
Mostly, I listen to Ilaiyaraaja (80s Songs) AR Rahman(90s Songs) and latest Tamil/Malayalam/Punjabi songs.
My Buget is Rs.4000 and doesn't have DAC.
I prefer sound quality over build quality and durability.
This is going to be my first IEM.
