OMG just realized I missed an edit at the end of the intro 😂

It’s funny, I thought it went along with you mentioning making a large mess when getting your rig set up to demonstrate the meter. 😄

I bought this and I love it. Got it primarily for the switching capabilities. One solid state amp and one valve amp into one pair of great speakers. My only minor criticism is, with all the meter color choices you have, the "blues" aren't that available (don't expect a McIntosh blue).
As far as price, they're presently under 130 on their Ebay store. I made an offer under 120 and they accepted. A good value in my situation.
This unit functions better than the Douk Audio Little Bear and the Fosi Audio LC30, both of which l checked out and returned.
      Thanks for the video review.

I (and all of the other viewers, I think) would watch your videos regardless of whether you stated what the purpose is or not. Fun, thought-provoking and just to see what Mr. R has up his sleeve!

Radio Shack used to sell a similar unit like this back in the early '70's!!, but didn't have a remote!

That NEOHIPO ET30 VU meter amplifier/speaker selector has a lot of great features and how can one not love those cool colour-adjustable, sensitivity-adjustable VU meters? :)

If the power supply for this ET30 is connected to my amp's switched outlet, will it go on and off with the amp, or do you have to press the on/off button every time? Is there an on/off button?

Yes there's a power on off in the controller

I suppose if my Rogue Audio DragoN supplies 500 wpc to 4 ohms that is too powerful for it to handle?

Hi, thanks for the video. Have a question here...did you notice any distortion issues as you mentioned while reviewing the Douk audio? And ...does it affect the audio listening levels ?

I did not, but due to my personal setup I was only able to test as thoroughly as you saw in the video. Thank you for watching! :)

Not bad for being under $200. I might get one to blend in with my vintage audio equipment.

WHEN YOU SWITCHED FROM THE USED SPEAKER OUTPUT TO THE UNUSED SPEAKER OUTPUT WHY WERE THE NEEDLES AT ALMOST A 1/4 AWAY FROM 0 ?
SURELY THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOTALLY OVER TO THE LEFT IF THERE WAS NO OUTPUT.

As s switch, i guess it useful enough (if it doesn't melt and connect the outputs together and let the magic smoke out) but the VU meters look cool but without calibration to a specific standard are useless.

How do you connect this just for VU meters?

My switch has two parallel outputs - I run one into this.
