Actually no. “Low ladder players” these days (arena 5-9 etc) have decent skills, compared to 5000ish trophies. I’ve played on my mum’s old account (5000 trophies) and my brand new account (3200 trophies), and the new account have harder ladder matchups. My guess is “low ladder” is now mainly populated with people starting a new account over actual newbies
