Here are the Northern Semi-finalists!
Onyema Amadi (Sport athlete from Wales) versus Sarah Damm (Sport science lecturer from East Birmingham, West Midlands)
Andy Farrell (Rugby player and health club owner from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire) versus Steve Maughan (Gas product engineering salesman from Thornaby on Tees, North Yorkshire)
Notes: Gauntlet appears in the first Northern semi-final as a core event in an event line-up as it alternates with Duel.
New Gladiator: Laser, as a recruiter and a replacement for Nightshade.
Absent: Nightshade and Zodiac.

Laser was a contender candidate and they drafted her in as a Glad after the injury issues they were dealing with. You could tell that she wasn't ready for it.
Are you sure about this cause Laser ended up becoming Sheena, a South Africa Gladiator after being the UK Laser. You can see her as Sheena in the Springbok challenges.

Felt a bit sorry for farrel on the powerball,, seems the gladiators were only interested in taking on him because of his rugby background, giving the other guy a comfortable 6 points, the ref really should have stopped it and asked for more fairness ffs.
At least Steve had the good grace to acknowledge Farrel had been given a rough ride in Powerball but didn't give up and took it with great sportmanship.
I miss Nightshade and Jet they were the best Gladiators both got injured.
Nightshade actually had a respiratory virus

Steve was a huge contender bodywise.
Rio, Rebel and Falcon sure seem to be working overtime on this series so far.
Well, Nightshade was ill and Zodiac's neck was fucked up.
No Nightshade, no Zodiac and Panther was a part time Glad at that point.
I swear Rio had a thing for pulling on the contenders clothes in Powerball
Rhino and Warrior swap places in the Gauntlet to front to rear.
Sarah is a GREAT all-rounder...I'm betting she wins this season.
Some of the tackling in Powerball is disgraceful. 9:51 Andy is already on the floor and being held down then Ace comes flying in at full speed trying to bulldog his head into the floor nearly breaking his neck.
Onyema was an impressive competitor and very strong but it's all very well and good being able to stand up to the likes of Rio and Rebal etc but IMO she was to carrying to far to much weight which slowed her down in the eliminator. Watching her climb the cargo net was like watching a slide show compared to Sarah although to be fair she managed to get up the travalator in one go.
She has nice body though

Disgusting and even Steve gave Andy props after. But the way they targeted Andy on the powerball was over the top,, its suppose to be a fair game and it was suppose to be 1 on 1 with the other glad backing up when possible,, it wasnt to be 2 on 1 for 60 seconds ffs.
When does Birmingham become the north? In my opinion it's right on the dividing line

You can put it in the north or south,, personally its more north than south
You can see on the map on the opening credits that it’s not an equal split geographically speaking. Wales is included in the north too. I assume they just had far more applicants from London than anywhere else and had to balance it out.
If Sarah Damm had a bit more humility she'd have probably won the whole thing, her arrogance had rubbed the gladiators up the wrong way by the grand final and she was given more attention by them than her opponent. She still only narrowly lost and in my opinion with a bit more humility she'd have probably given the 98 champion a run for her money as well.
@Reggie Berger she didnt need to cheat though thats the thing,, she was very skilled in most areas and it was her arrogance that was her downfall in the end. The glads made damn sure she wasnt going into the eliminator with a lead.
That's such a bullshit argument. She had more humility than Eunice, who was everyone's sweetheart.
People were just jealous she was a great all around athlete.
@@Costas22 It doesn't matter how good you are any contender that's prepared to stretch the rules to gain an advantage doesn't deserve to be held in such high regard. And yes the evidence is all there, shoving Rio off the suspension bridge (which while she was rightfully DQed for still counts) and kicking Lightning during hang tough, which was clearly a kick and got her an underserved 5 points. It's clear you're just salty Sarah lost even though what happened to her in the final is her own fault and just go out of your way to attack anyone who so much as criticises Sarah in spite of their very real reasons to be critical, the very definition of a fanboy. Watching her crash and burn in the final is incredibly satisfying just like watching Tracy Harris get thrashed in the eliminator by Ludwig Ramsay in the first series and I couldn't feel sorry for her for the injury during the Ashes, if anything it felt like a healthy dose of karma.
My girl Sarah once again destroying the competition. And looking mighty fine in those bikini shorts.

First appearance by Laser in this semi-final. Not the best start for her though...
PENDULUM not the best event for her though, it would be like having Vogue's first event being WHIPLASH.

Ace the incredible thick new gladiator... I mean chocolate bar 😁😁😁 The Time outs of him being used as a running hurdle and them knocking over his sandcastle.... Nice to hear Falcon talk in a time out on the bike with Cobra and Vogue... Vogue putting on a posh voice, she all of a sudden thinks now she is the top popular girl infront of the newbies.. In fact I wish Fash would stop referring her as The Beautiful Vogue. He once upon a time said that about Jet before Hang Tough... And John Sachs full of high praise and referring to her as The Cover Girl.... It's an absolute shit name for a gladiator.
