My dad sung System of a Down's "Chop Suey" since I was little, but I had no idea what it was. That was when, during my Freshman year in High School, my dad showed me the band's music video of Chop Suey for the first time, and that's when I immediately became a fan of System of a Down.
The thing that hurts my soul the most was 6 years ago shavo said his arthritis wasn’t in his hands, now he’s got arthritis in his hands 😞 dude can’t be stopped though, shavo is a badass

Saw them at San Bernardino; Clutch was by far the best opening band. Glad I watched this because it makes me appreciate them a lot more. Thank you, Shavo for doing this interview! We are all looking forward to hearing new music. :)
The San Bernardino show was CRAAAAAZY! Saw them literally up front. The crowd was INTENSE!!!!!! I still got a big smile from the show 😊

Serj loves heavy music, that's why he continued doing SOAD and even his solo music is heavy. The pretty much got into heavy music because of SOAD. Don't you see him smiling and headbanging when they play live? Daron and Serj don't hate each other, thy are good friends still. Even if drama and fights have happened, they have both said they are still friends and Serj has even stated that not doing an album and playing live has brought them closer as friends. I don't see a reason why Serj would lie especially given his views on things. The reason the album isn't happening (at least not right now) is because Daron and Serj have creative differences on the way they want to do the album. Daron wants to keep the style that SOAD has always had and Serj wants to change their sound. Serj has also made a full confession about him being the one responsible for the hiatus and no new music. He has stated that he didn't want to do make Mez/Hyp because Daron tool more control on the band then the other members, Daron made a bigger percentage of lyrics and sang more than in previous albums and he took a larger amount of money than the other members has got from the albums. I love Daron but honestly, I think he is pretty hypocritical, he is in two bands that make music against control and power over people when he wants control and power over SOAD. I still say they are both responsible for no new music cause if one of the agreed, either way it would have happened, but I am on Serj's side on this one. They care about fans but they are not going to do an album if they can't all agree because they want to be happy making it and they don't want it to sound like garbage. System of a Down is my favourite band and there's not one song I dislike, on and off album. I don't think I would like it if they did and album and aren't happy with it, because I have empathy and I care for the musician more than the music and plus I wouldn't want my favourite band to come out with music I dislike cause I think that would kind of ruin it for me. Not saying that if they release a new album it will be bad. Just that they might not put as much effort since they have creative differences. Also SOAD without Serj would be The beginning days of Scars on Broadway and I would much prefer Serj's voice over just Daron's or anyone else's.

I'll be your therapist... Serj is the lead singer but Damian wants to write the lyrics. Damian can give input and do back-up vocals but leave the lyrics to Serj... Focus on getting weird again. Yes kooky phrases like ordering a pizza is funny but others like "Tony Danza cute in line!"... that's my least favorite line in a song... I need SUGAR levels of greatness here.
