When i was 14 years old i discovered system and just loved it for the perfect balance between heavy and soulful imo and it was just great music to me. 10 years later I am now 24 and still to this day system remains a massive influence on the music that i write even though it is not with in the same genre's but now that i am older and can actually understand the lyrics to there music and how confronting they are to the real problems in the world made me put this band at the above number one spot on my list I personally do not have a favorite System Of A Down album as well....I fucking LOVE them all every last song would be more then overjoyed to see one last album from them in a few years
The best of Daron and Serj. At that time Serj still had his voice.Daron is the same through out the years, full of energy and giving the crowd an insane show.
The first system song I hearf was suite pee, and it was like nothing I had ever heard, the vocals were so unique and it was so heavy and dark. The Chops Suey video is the first time I saw the band on mtv, and from then on they've have always been in my top 5 fav bands.
I'm 22, been listening to them since I was 14... I remember they came to Soundwave Australia in 2012 and I BEGGED my mum for tickets but she was worried the crowd would be too rough to deal with as I have anxiety in large crowds... With their touring around Europe coming up I hope they make their way here!
yes! you can easily think at first that it's the other way round.Mesmerise has more bold music but at the end hypnotise with teh lyrics and everything is more powerfull, mesmerise is way happier as a record
At 00:19 Serj wanna give him hand shake and it's show that not that man who takes interview from Soad gives first hand shake but Serj :D It shows that Serj is very kind person and very very good man... Respect For Serj
Yes and no. If you really pay attention to serj through out each album he had his mind made up by the end of toxicity. I'm grateful he did that last double album with the band its easily they're most powerful session recording but it also makes me sad listening to it cause you can feel hes pushing himself as hard as he can on that record cause he knew it was the last one he would do. The whole situation sucks
Gah, I love when an interviewer asks a question, then cuts the person off 6 seconds later to ask another question! Grinds my gears... like it just makes ya an obnoxious TOAD. Not genuine.
Zane Lowe's one of the worst interviewers.. He pretends far too much to be such a fan of everyone he interviews but it's really obvious he doesn't give four fucks about anything the musicians say and just wants to hear himself speak. It's telling when the best questions in a 15 minute long interview come from fan submissions.
I got shot in summer school that year in the back right of my head. I was in Mrs. Wilm's class in between 4the and 5th grade. The Figment of my imagination dragon from scholastic had a camera. BUBBA shot me. Big black BUBBA.
Ani: Daron, you gave too much of your power to Serj. SOAD will still be SOAD without him. I’m sure it meant a lot to the community that you’re all Armenian and he’s become an important figure there, but you’re all artists in the end and know it’s about the art. Armenians don’t even make up the majority of the fan base. My suggestion is to find a new lead vocalist who has a wide technical range including gutturals. Someone who won’t be intimidated by your leadership and involvement. True leaders respect each other. Even if the album isn’t as well received…who cares! It’s about healing and moving on.
Serj: “Daron… I’m proud of you for stepping up and acknowledge your growth and contributions. BUT if you continue to take more and more ownership, where will I stand? I’m the singer and want to be the face of the band. I’m political and don’t truly understand democracy for lack of depth. I don’t play an instrument on stage. You’re just as charismatic, BUT I want to be perceived as the serious charismatic band leader. Let’s discuss the band dynamics before the next album.” Daron: “Sounds good.”
Daron is fucking insane in concert but so well spoken in interviews
Lol watch the uranium interview
F e l l a t i o
@@SophieRipley09 he was well spoken there as well
Lol "Me and Serj don't sit in the dark and talk about George Bush".
“eating the noodles was my favorite part”
Serj is a very good individual, if you ever talk to him hes a very kind person! he's one of those people you want to meet more than anyone else :D
I put System up there with Sabbath and Metallica,
System kept Metal alive in the 2000s.
I think they are objectively better than Sabbath, and equally as good as Metallica but Tobe honest, they will always be my number 1 favorite band
Was not System of a Down hwo keept metal alive in 2000s.... WAS PANTERA and make no mistake of that.....
@@williammorales5757 pantera in the 90s
Metallica fuckin sucks, overrated in my opinion. Only good album's were and justice for all and kill em all
Lorn, System and Slipknot were the most popular metal bands in the 2000s, as far as I know
Serj wants to GO HOME

The best of Daron and Serj. At that time Serj still had his voice.Daron is the same through out the years, full of energy and giving the crowd an insane show.
i think this is the first time I have ever seen Daren behave himself in an interview
yeah, Darren, the most behaved boy from _Slipknot_ of course 🙃👍🏻
This is a great interview. One of the few that the boys took seriously, i think. Very refreshing. I love daron:)
It's like getting interviewed by a guy who's never listened to music, but read a lot of wiki pages
daron has too much sass
The first system song I hearf was suite pee, and it was like nothing I had ever heard, the vocals were so unique and it was so heavy and dark.
The Chops Suey video is the first time I saw the band on mtv, and from then on they've have always been in my top 5 fav bands.
Steal This Album is still my favorite SOAD album. Fan since 2001 this band changed my life
Saw System a few weeks ago listening to them now more than ever
Where did you saw them?

I LOVE that they gave props to GunsnRoses, I love GNR as well.
Amo las risa de Daron, suena como una oveja xd
You can tell Serj isnt feeling it
I can sit all day listening to those guys!
daron's probably high on caffeine
Steal this album is great, its got,
streamline, roulette, inner vision, mr. jack, highway song etc.
Nüguns was my shitttt
so help me god if you dont say chic n stu
That album was on constant repeat when I was a kid
yes! you can easily think at first that it's the other way round.Mesmerise has more bold music but at the end hypnotise with teh lyrics and everything is more powerfull, mesmerise is way happier as a record
They seem to feel a bit unconfertable being there
I remember in middle school I got hypnotized album for Christmas 🎄
Holy mountain, stealing society, and dreaming my favorite songs 😝
F A L A T I O
always a classic daron ...
That dude did his homework!!
Good interview.
Nothing im not use to. Oh daron.
At 00:19 Serj wanna give him hand shake and it's show that not that man who takes interview from Soad gives first hand shake but Serj :D It shows that Serj is very kind person and very very good man... Respect For Serj
Falatio
I just was showed this video last week. I was in SHOCK
haha man Serj and Daron were both so sassy around this era. I just feel like at any moment these guys are ready to shit on your interview.
2020 fav band
Serj i love
The interviewer was so oblivious to the fact they were basically saying they're goodbyes with the album installment.
Hindsight is always 20/20

Mike Hunt wait really? why
@@ShadowDarkHeart90 you need to read what Serj stated a couple of months ago on his facebook.
I love system
Cool that they referenced Use your illusion. 😊
Yeah. Serj: "Amazing tracks". Makes me wonder which songs he was thinking of. That's not sarcasm btw
4:14 OUCH ! That's was a hard cut.
hahahaha serj is so high
two month in studio?.. lol I love you guys
And the New Zealand Apple guy is pretty cool too. Broken needle by Manson came out of my brain while scraping a dope pipe. Lol
He was right about the records being viewed as one
Nothing has flown out of it for over month, so that's good...
Lay off the drugs
Gah, I love when an interviewer asks a question, then cuts the person off 6 seconds later to ask another question! Grinds my gears... like it just makes ya an obnoxious TOAD. Not genuine.
they are both so stoned, awesome !
they need to make another album
STA is an excellent album!
the were a lot of people runninr around with noodles .. it was very dangures! --- serj :D
Doesn't SOAD hate MTV?
Ye
I adore you both
I know I was thinking the same thing, they looked very unhappy...
"Superman told me..."

Agreed..but he gets some good acts to interview
yeah.. he sucks
Pueden subtitularlo por favor -_-

Didn’t work on me, Hypnotize and Mesmerize sound different to me. Separate albums for me
It's THE ORIGIONAL SNUFF FILM OF COLUMBINE
Johnathan Allen Allmen Senior, the CEO of NASA is my childhood friends father
I love SOAD, but Buckethead has released 275 albums in 7 years. No whining fellas.

Dio stepped in for Ozzy.
That’s true it can be someone up and coming, but they would have to be very special. Like Wacken Metal Battle kind of contest.
Is that too humiliating towards Serj? To have a SOAD contest in replacing him. Does he deserve that?
They look sober here!in 2002 serj tankian is stoned!if not,why is he wearing sunglasses at night!
I know that girl... The one who caused the shooting
Just sayin
