I think when he says 'echo' he is using it as a generic term that may instead be referring to 'reverb' or overdubbing a voice or instrument multiple times.

One of the most iconic songs of the eurodance genre, this and Be my Lover by La Bouche (La da da dee da da da da) are probably the two more popular songs of eurodance. The girl that appears in that video is the brazilian Olga Da Souza who just does playback, the real singer is the italian girl Giovanna Bersola (AKA Jenny B).

It Feels So Good; London Beat - I've Been Thinking About You; CeCe Peniston - Finally. So much more music! :)
Bought this CD in my 20s. Wore it out. I fully expected them to be the next big thing, but it sadly didn't happen. Doesn't take away from the awesomeness of the album! They had three other hits from it, "Baby Baby", "Try Me Out", and "I Don't Wanna Be a Star". (And there's another song called "Rhythm of the Night", an 80s song by DeBarge, that you should check out when you're in an 80s mood.) For some more new artists, check out "Everybody Everybody" by Black Box, "The Hitman" by AB Logic, "Fascinated" by Company B, and "I've Been Thinking About You" by Londonbeat. ANY of those songs would be FIRE for your 1 year anniversary! Anyone want to co-nominate?
This song is sung by Jenny B. (Italian Giovanna Bersola), the other three you mentioned by Sandy Chambers (English who lived in Italy). Olga was just a model who performed for cameras

Nothing but great amazing memories with this track
Used to love dancing my ass off to this in the clubs in the early 90s!
@@stef8073 Thanks for the correction! YOu're right, Olga is just the one who appeared in the video.
@@Shrykespeare You can't even imagine how many hidden singers there were behind dance productions, especially Italian ones. This is Sandy Chambers ruclips.net/video/kg14ftZiM_Q/видео.html
This instead some of the songs with the voice of Jenny B ruclips.net/video/5z8vxv7qcoY/видео.html
@@stef8073 That was COOL! Thanks Stef! 😁
You guys would've loved being a young 20 something year old back in this era and dancing at the clubs to this great techno/dance music. Everyone was just having a blast dancing around having fun!
Ha! As soon as I saw the title, I knew this was going to be good! So funny you said you'd add it to the Saturday playlist, my first thought was "this will be fun for the kids to bop around with." Promise, we all felt the same when the song came out. It was a staple of dances, parties, and clubs. Everybody would groove!
Brings me Back to late 80’s early 90’s JR High dance!! Love this
Classic club banger! Still gets a crowd going!
Love this song. Takes me right back to my clubbing days
This song was an 80’s staple in the clubs. Thanks for taking me back to fun days!
