Great tutorials, but for us who have none of the stuff Mini has, like a stamper, the nail vinyls or the studs, most of these tutorials don't work for us at all.
Theres all sorts you can use without having to buy anything, bobby pins work as dotting tools, and any pencils with erasers on the top, carve into the eraser to make stamps. There's lots of things like that you can do :)

Sorry I'm not Sandi😭, but I do have an answer to your questions. The stuff you put around your nails is a liquid latex solution. There are many types like- mess no more from mini mani moo, liquid palisade, and my favorite Simply Peel from bliss kiss. I've seen these go from 6-20 dollars The other question's answer is water slide decal paper. I got mine from Amazon. They normally run from 8 to 20 dollars.
