His channel popped up and I've been solid viewer ever since too! I think everyone should watch, like, subscribe and share his vids. I agree! He deserves all positives!
Agreed! I don’t even know how I found his channel I just randomly watched a vid and I was like damn, ima watch another, and here I am, still watching the vids daily 😂😂
hey Ryan, just a tip for the tacos, if you're trying to use something like oil or butter to bind the doritos, best way to do those (though hotsauce does still work better) is you make it a kind of "batter" with them, with the oil mix them in a bowl then put it on once it's kinda absorbed some of the oil. For the butter it's more like a paste but it's the same concept.
If you want even more work to make your coffee, you should get a gooseneck kettle that lets you set a specific temperature and burr grinder so you can grind fresh (1-2 weeks from roast date) whole beans. Something like a 1Zpresso hand grinder is a good starting point and probably works well for van life. Would be fun to try different beans from local roasters around the country. It’ll be worth it I promise :)
Saw one video about a month ago and now it’s one of my go to channels if I’m eating or laying down before bed. Keep up the consistent content🙏🏼😊 more catch and cook please! You’re also really good at COD…a lot of everything on your channel.
We love and appreciate you, Ryan. The history of the Marathon TX was cool. Florida has little towns that look very similar due to our strong Latin heritage and culture.
About the bugs, they do have outdoor fogger things that keep bugs away. Work great from what I hear. Do 30 min before you go out and bugs should be gone. Nice vid.
Ryan lots of respect how you keep the dialogue going and keep it interesting everywhere you go. Your videos bring me back to my time road tripping. Its all about the small towns! During my cross country trips and extended Northwest Trips my best memories are from meeting people in the towns along the way and the memories we made!
Your now one of my go to channels to watch before I fall a sleep. I don't do van life I live in a small apartment lol close no wheels but I have scleroderma, neuromyelitis optica and lupus. So autoimmune chronic pain sucks majorly. Thank you for keeping my mind of my terminal diseases
First time watching any of your videos, this was a really cool video, love the van. The tacos are a great idea. Your voice is deep and calming, definitely gonna watch more videos, already subscribed.
Dude, so glad you tossed the Folgers. 😂 As a coffee nerd, when I see my wife drink Folgers I die inside. It would be rad to see you stop at different local coffee shops in some of the towns you visit.
Hot sauce holds dorito dust better because it's thicker, olive oil and butter are both runny at hot temps, so it's basically like trying to stick to water, it's going to hold but as soon as you move it, there's no substance to hold onto the dust and it will fall off. Thick hot sauce works best or if you don't like hot sauce you can use thick ketchup.
This is the first video I’ve ever seen from you, and Brother, I have to say I’m impressed! I love that you incorporated the small town history, and I actually took time to do a couple things there to highlight it. I will be going back and watching multiple of your past videos now 👏🏻 New sub here!
You could just drip the coffee directly into your mug. One less thing to wash. I do that using a Fino pour over coffee filter cone (Amazon) and regular filters.
I love watching you cook. I wish I could clean your stove top for you but hey, I know you’ll get to that eventually! Have you always cooked or is this only since you’re on the road? I like seeing how adventurous you are in what you choose to cook!
@Ryantwomey Dude I love your videos! I cane across your channel a few weeks ago and I can’t stop watching! I just love how real you are! Keep up the great work! P.S.- can you possibly put the recipes to what you are cooking for dinner each night in the description? I would love to try your dishes for myself. Either way, you are the man, and keep on trucking!
I’ve been watching your videos for a week now already subscribed, you have inspired me to do a van build myself. I want to travel from state to state getting a tattoo in each one I visit
hey ryan your best bet for the bugs is to put your a/c set to recirculate as you would for max a/c setting it closes a door in your firewall of the vehicle and will stop anything from coming in although there is a filter preventing pretty much anything from getting in except dust in your vehicle and also some vehicles open the fresh air door aka the recirculate door when the vehicle is off so yeah vents closed will help most likely or u just let them in ....in the past thru your door when entering or exiting also if your ever in upstate ny to check out the very north east give me a message its so beautiful here in upstate ny 7 miles from the canadian border also im a mechanic so if i can help with some issues i will
Glad you got to experience Big Bend! I was there in December where i proposed to my now fiance at Santa Elena Canyon, I'm from ATX and I didn't even know Texas had mountains like the ones out there. much love Ryan. also when you plan on prepping tortillas for taco shells, warm them up a little to soften them up. itll avoid tears and will fold much better
You know, the US has 2 borders, homie! Vancouver to Dawson City Yukon in the summer is a drive/experience that I genuinely think every single North American owes themselves.
Ryan, the front vent registers have filters so I doubt bugs are coming in from there. Probably opening your door or windows would do it. Think bug zapper.
Stumbled over your channel a few days ago - i've gotta say i'm very well entertained and i enjoy your videos a lot. Greetings from across the world in Germany! :)
Ryan i started watching you at around 100k subs, And literally in a month plus now 150k and growing really fast! Congrats. Great easy to watch and fun content.
You can steam them first in the microwave. The hot sauce has more liquid which probably steamed the tortillas in the oven. The oil and butter are fats, so if you want the fats which I do, steam the tortillas first which also makes them easier to mold.
Found your channel like 2 weeks ago and i’ve watched every single one of your videos 😭. Can definitely tell you’ll have at least a million within a year
Hey Ryan, loving your videos, I'm from Brisbane Australia. I love watching what you cook for dinner. It's so great to see America in a positive light, we get so much negative media over here about America, but your videos bring such a positive experience. I wanna give you a tip if you like, when you need to boil a pot for making food and you're in a rush, boil the kettle and use that water, instant boiling water :) I do it all the time, it's so quick. Also wash your veggies, lol then you'll find those veggie stickers, so funny watching you with those stuffed capsicums that time, but all good, no harm done anyway hey. I didn't get to see the video yet where you mention why you're not going to Alaska...what was the reason you decided not to? Anyway, thanks for the great content, love watching your journey so far and you also have a great looking van, you have a lot of great features anyone could want. :)
Dawg, you need RAID or bug spray!!!! Spray as soon as you stop and before and after you cook and before you go to bed. It's a small space so the bottle should last you a bit!
i have beeen here from your first video and never miss one yet, i love your video and btw love from the most coner and small part of the town from india
Hey Ryan Another great video with your dinner oil and butter will dry out but the hot sauce will not dry completely but again the food looked great cannot wait for the next video 👍🏻
it's incredible how much of the real stuff you show in your videos. but I am always undeterred this craving i have for a lifestyle like this won't go away. you've definitely inspired me to do a trip like this too. as soon as the van build is done i hope you cross paths with you one day.
Love the video Ryan especially the cooking, I couldn't help but laugh to myself when you tried to use butter and oil to help the Doritos stick. Hot sauce bakes, butter just melts and oil just sits in heat, I was chuckling knowing only the hot sauce one was going to be the best before the end result, but great video as always Ryan and always love the cooking segments.
Omg we were there . Our group took a picture on the huge rock and fb tagged us in Mexico. We road our motorcycles through that area and the view was breathtaking.
I wish more area (I mean not only near border area Mexico and Texas) have those drive way picnic it is really nice idea 💡(it would be neat to see around Northern California or new York and more
Dont know if u ever tried McCafe coffee, can find in Walmart. I love it,, better than Maxwell and Folger. Enjoying yur daily trips on your way to Alaska. Love the scenery too.
You know those youtubers that you're constantly looking out for videos because of how good they are? Ryan is now one of them
His channel popped up and I've been solid viewer ever since too! I think everyone should watch, like, subscribe and share his vids. I agree! He deserves all positives!
Totally agree
Hard agree
Agreed! I don’t even know how I found his channel I just randomly watched a vid and I was like damn, ima watch another, and here I am, still watching the vids daily 😂😂

lol the way you make your Folgers! You can just mix the coffee with water, no need to use a whole pour over set up. Just more dishes!
Crazy you’re only a few hours south of where I live, I’ve been watching your videos off and on wondering when you’d be in this area! Safe travels!
If you want even more work to make your coffee, you should get a gooseneck kettle that lets you set a specific temperature and burr grinder so you can grind fresh (1-2 weeks from roast date) whole beans. If I could retweet a RUclips comment, it would be this! Also recommend a kitchen scale for brewing coffee.
Ryan would hate this

We love and appreciate you, Ryan. The history of the Marathon TX was cool. Florida has little towns that look very similar due to our strong Latin heritage and culture.

Hands down the best van life youtuber. These videos actually feel authentic.
Ryan keep the videos coming you awesome

Best channel on you tube hands down! Love u bro❤
Dude, so glad you tossed the Folgers. 😂
As a coffee nerd, when I see my wife drink Folgers I die inside. It would be rad to see you stop at different local coffee shops in some of the towns you visit.
Second this! 😂
this is the most naturally entertaining content ive seen in a very long time.
Coffee Tip: If you run across an Aldi (there pretty much everywhere now) look for German Coffee Dark Roast Mild. Really smooth and yummy coffee ;)
Wow those small hotel rooms are super cool! Love history and authentic

The house and hotel are exactly the kind of quirk I'm into. Great find! Thanks, JJ the French Grocer for the hot tips!
Hey I saw a modification to the diesel heaters that lets you use used cooking oil for a fuel. Might be a good option for you.
This is awesome...thanks for taking us with you for the ride!
I just adore these small talks with the local! :)
Seems like a very nice town
I absolutely love all your videos!!!..

You know, the US has 2 borders, homie!
Vancouver to Dawson City Yukon in the summer is a drive/experience that I genuinely think every single North American owes themselves.
Just discovered you earlier today. You are right up my street with the kind off stuff you like to go see. That hotel was fascinating!

Glad you showed the fob lock. I've wondered about how you secure things when you step away. Hey, are those plants alive?
Ryan, the front vent registers have filters so I doubt bugs are coming in from there. Probably opening your door or windows would do it. Think bug zapper.

Ryan, my boy, keep living the life!
Good looking variety of tacos. You make 😢 look easy. Enjoy. Thank you for the video.
Definitely add Cumin for the taco seasoning. It’ll get em just right with the rest of those.
So glad to see you toss that Folgers that shit is hot garbage. May as well scoop up some dirt and gravel and brew it 😂
Another slapper of a vid! Love you bro

Dig you content. Just a headsup, Alaskan mosquitos are on another level compared to the lower 48. Grab some mosquito netting and a Thermacell.
How do you end up choosing spot to stop with internet? When I'm traveling I always need internet connection otherwise I'm finding another spot.
Keep doing your thing, every video is interesting and captivating
Omg we were there . Our group took a picture on the huge rock and fb tagged us in Mexico. We road our motorcycles through that area and the view was breathtaking.
14:20 When you start Youtubing so hard that you end up looking like Mr. Beast 😆
Like the off the beaten path videos. So many neat places people don’t get to see because they choose to travel the interstates.
Get a french press for that coffee and level up your coffee game💪💪
The french grocer lol fancy small boarder town. Great video as usual
I recently came across your videos & have been binge watching. Traveling, cooking & gaming in the same video is peak content.
