Side effects *have* been studied though. Macrodoses (standard doses for tripping that are taken infrequently) have been established to be 100% safe in terms of toxicity. The only physical risk is the hypothesis that since psychedelics agonize the 5HT2b serotonin receptor, regular consumption (like with microdosing) could increase the risk of Valvular Heart Disease. However, the dosage of a microdose is much less than that of a macrodose, which could mean that the strength of the effect that psychedelics has on these receptors is likely too small to increase a healthy person's risk of developing VHD.
There are also so many benefits besides productivity that this video seriously failed to mention. Psychedelics can treat mental illnesses by promoting neurogenesis and neuroplasticity, and they increase the "volume" of the subconscious mind by decreasing activity in the Default Mode Network, increasing the user's awareness of their inner workings and psychological blockages. This video is just counterproductive and is discouraging further research of psychedelics.

That part kind of made me giggle lol. I've previously made the comparison of microdosing LSD to caffeine, if caffeine actually worked as intended. Which it mostly doesn't for myself and many others lol. They tell you all these great things about LSD but then tell you not to do it because there hasn't been enough research, which is largely due to the fact that it is illegal.

uhh yea LSD is WAY *WAY* more interesting, memorable, enlightening & amazing than a cup of coffee could ever be.
But they're talking about micro dosing, which isnt as interesting as full blown tripping. They're saying if you're looking for the minor things like energy and focus, caffeine delivers those same effects. If you're looking for the major things like haulicinating and ego death then take a few tabs of lsd.
I've micro dosed.. you need to mind that your tolerance for lsd builds very quickly.. it also fades quickly.
So you could microdose maybe once every 3 days. And the effects, while in no way similar to a high, are FAR more noticeable than coffee. Coffee is just just drink for most people. It does nothing.
Microdosing will noticeably improve your mood, reduce your appetite and enhance colors to a small degree. It makes you more focused and your brain builds connections faster. What coffee are you people drinking?

Coffee is really addictive and gives many withdrawal symptoms. I cannot stop drinking it without getting a headache.

Psychedelics are the reason why i didn’t take my life when i was at my end. I was stripped of my ego and saw the beauty of life and interconnectivity and even though i still battle anxiety and depression, I’m doing better everyday and will never think in such a self destructive way again.

I took microdoses LSD (10-15ug) and magic mushrooms (0.15-0.20ug) for 3 months. Аnd that helped me a lot in different aspects of my life! And guess what? What are the differences in the way you feel between these two?
I built up a tolerance for all of my rx drugs that made me dissociated from reality. I weaned off them terribly and thought I was going to die.
But with microdosing I don't have that. It's as though even when they aren't in my system my neurons have already made the connection.

@@novano1d now that's not it at all. If you truly think that your mistaken big time. For starters lsd and many other spiritual drugs, are harmless and aren't addictive. They are the universes "wakeup" medicine, that I personally believe exist for one purpose and that is spiritual enlightenment. If you take lsd it won't lead you to "harder" drugs, and if it does just goes to show how little will you actually have. Spiritual drugs will give you so much more insight in one trip then you knew most of your life, if you go in with the intention of receiving information from the universe. We have really good LSD-25 here in Canada and I just took a microdose today. Around 35-40mg, 1/4 of a tab. It really helped me. Last few weeks I was really up and down and I was having really dark thoughts. I was very negative and I couldnt enjoy the present moment even if I wanted too. Then I decided to take a microdose and its like the dark coulds that were on my mind just disappeared. I became more present and felt "enlighten". I was laughin a lot and felt really good ! Im so amazed by how powerfull LSD can be ! 🙏

Microdosing (~20ug) dosen't make you smarter, but it surely enhence some of cognitive functions in a smooth and not overwhelming manner. Another thing is that lsd-25 builds up tolerance quite fast, so effects of taking microdoses daily will diminish respectively. Taking 200ug can show you intensely modality of your brain's functions, but taking the drug will not make anybody smarter by just taking it. Indeed, the experience can be profound and constructive for your self-development. Set and setting is the essence, doing it with the people you trust, in a safe environment, without hard-emotional luggage. Lsd-25 slays ego, it heightens awareness and shows the Tao.
Keep in mind that just sending your ego asleep is not enough, for true changes you need to kickstart a new life right after the trip. New environment, new activities, new people.

if you meditate the right way, you don't need to take any of these drugs.
Meditation is great but I feel like you'd have to be a zen master to have the same effect. This is just a possible alternative that may be useful someday for some people. Heck microdosing might help people meditate better.

I've started meditate and breathing techniques and i feel that it's the most natural way to solve certain problems, i think everybody should try this before microdosing
I feel like hallucinogens simply reveal what's in your subconscious mind uncontrollably in high doses. Everything that you have experienced from your first day in this world to every movie you've watched to every person you've met. In order for you to function daily, your brain works on autopilot for most daily tasks and you're able to tap further into your subconscious mind on a small or larger scale depending on the dose you take.
Meditation is the same, it just take longer. But meditation is just as effective for allowing you to access thoughts and ideas from the subconscious. You just dont get the overwhelming visuals the way you would lsd. Meditation also allows you to create your own scenarios and allows you to practice virtually anything. I believe meditation releases very small amounts of dmt in the brain depending on how advanced you are in meditation.
Astral projection is the combination of meditation and tripping on higher doses of dmt. You have what appears to be a realistic realm that's way more vivid similar to a high dose of l dmt as far as believability and more sensory acceptable than meditation. So basically you can literally create another life that defys the laws of physics in the astroworld that could have some or a lot of carry over in to real life. You got to have control over your thoughts to make that happen unless you're ok with your brain making up random scenarios
That's my take on it. Simply an opinion.
I don't like the lies about lsd, it's not dangerous unless you are predisposed to mental illnesses. It should be a legal prescription due to its lack of side effects vs antidepressants.

How dare you recommend coffee over lsd. I was hooked on that speed for two decades. Was a big factor in physical and mental degeneration. Been off that garbage for 5 years. I can't get anyone to quit because it is about as addictive as cocaine. Microdosing lsd on the other hand has helped tremendously. Micro dosing daily won’t work because you build resistance. Side effect also is serotonin toxicity.
There is still little to no credible research on the long term effects of microdosing so you may be right or you may be wrong.
You don’t take it daily, it’s a cycle. One every 4th day, to avoid building that resistance and no more than 2 month cycle with a 3 month break

@myco_tori on instagram Microdose? Screw that. No mega dose, no micro dose, I want a get high and party dose. I've taken hundreds, perhaps a thousand plus doses of LSD over twenty five years. Did it make me smarter or happier? It just made me high and then wore off. The experience opened my mind to the power of consciousness and how we control our interactions with life and how we make the experience wonderful or terrifying. I've never had a "bad" trip. I've taken way, way too much at times and couldn't take care of myself for a few hours. Even so I was much to happy to be upset. I wasn't impressed with DMT even though I used large amounts. Mushrooms are okay. Some people simply don't require a regular dose to get high and that's cool. I suspect their tolerance will eventually make small amounts a waste of time.

Still little to no research on the long term effects of microdosing. Better not to toy with the mind until we have evidence whether these substances are safe/harmful. It does offer hope that there will be better treatment options for depression/anxiety then what they have now.
