When can the youth start to get used to it when you react like that? Let the netsurfer be shocked or feign shock at these things, it's his god-given right!
It's so funny how people "find out" every generation that the newest generation is the worst generation ever. Lmao, that's as old as freaking Socrates, bro.
That clip with Tucker and Kevin Spacey playing Frank Underwood was sooo wild - "I think we could both agree that we need to get some adults back in the room" We wish you would too Kevin, that's what gotcha in trouble in the first place.
I'm in my 20s and kinda on the border between millennials and Gen Z and I work with elementary schoolers, and there definitely are problems with the young kids. I think it's mostly a product of the lingering consequences of covid disruptions (and the associated chaos in public schools which is only just starting to settle down), as well as the continued escalation of kids being raised by being parked in front of phones and ipads to keep them busy (which is demonstrably really bad for little kids). A lot of the people making the hysterical tiktoks kinda lack perspective though imo. The first few years as a teacher/educator have always been pretty rough for people, and there have always been some kids (especially in poor communities) with major behavior problems and low academic skills. I think that kids right now are on the whole not doing so great, but kids can grow and recover from setbacks, I don't think we're necessarily doomed.
Yeah I was a teacher and I am genuinely concerned about the kids, and my biggest issue is that you can just tell they are straight up addicted to their phones. And not in a flippant way but like they display really disturbing signs of addiction, the way they act sometimes reminds me of some of the smokers or drug addicts I've known. I don't think its their fault or makes them bad kids though, it's clear they CANNOT control themselves and don't even necessarily understand why either. It's like if you got a whole generation of kids hooked on smokes from the age of like 2 and then wondered why they were hostile and unhinged when they go to school and teachers need them to focus and they can't smoke in class. Like how do you expect them to behave? The most psycho behavior from kids I've ever experienced is when you try to take their phones or tell them to get off their phone and work, they go like super saiyan and fight like you're taking their heroin needle away. And covid definitely made matters much worse, because on top of that they now didn't get to develop social skills and are all academically behind, mentally ill and fucked up from 2 years of isolation which makes it even harder for them at school
60% of the people who say "we're doomed" are just following the tradition of hating the newer generation while the rest is genuinely concerned about them.
@@dudekazoo joke's on you, this was all a lead-in before i reveal that i think the real problem with kids these days is gender ideology and fluoride in the water

Like that one episode of Freeman's Mind where he argues that the more people he kills the safer he is in a court of law because at some point the body count gets so high it sounds too absurd for him to have pulled off. And if you really think about it, it's becoming increasingly hard for traditional positions of authority like parents, teachers, bosses, cops, politicians etc. to justify their level of influence beyond accepting it as just by law of nature. I think the younger the people are, the more they expect their leaders to act as first among equals, rather than "my way or the highway".
