@@rhysspeight7142 yes actually, gateron cjs are as smooth beacuse they use low coefficient of friction plastics and I think a low friction metal to create a buttery smooth typing feel. Also the sound from opticals is terrible because most of the keyboards they came with weren't designed for sound

optical switches are amazing. super reliable, built to last and really smooth. can’t get that smoothness with contact based switches:
