Hey guys. I can't tell you how many times I have bruised, beaten and broken my pride over my many years of manhood that would make what happen to Paul look like a day in the park. lol. So, take heart Paul! There are people out there much, much worse off. 😂 Thanks for another one guys. Take care.
good night Ernie and Liz and Paul I love watching your RUclips videos on your RUclips I hope that you are all well and enjoying your adventures on your narrowboat I hope Ernie is being good and everyone is I can't thank you so much for what you do on your RUclips channel for everyone to watch, please keep safe and warm and please say hi to Ernie for me and please keep up your good work on your you tube channel
Aww bless you Paul, it's easily done. Lovely to see The Cloud from your mooring. We've walked up that a few times. Tell Ernie, his side eye game is strong 😂❤ bless him 😊
Hi Rachael, how funny as we actually walked the cloud today as we are a few weeks ahead of our filming and are on the way back down the Macclesfield. What a fabulous view from the top, thoroughly enjoyed it. It will be in about 3 vlogs time 😉😊
What Paul should have said about the boxes was, yes love that's a great idea you've had I'll get onto it asap. 😁 Those were some gorgeous looking cows, as cows go. We've all had to ask for assistance, even though you spent hours trying to sort it yourself 🤦🏼
Beautiful colour cows weren't they, they actually matched Ernie's shade. Don't think we are doing the boxes anymore, we've just repainted the roof and finding other storage for the chairs and bits. 😉 😊
Never a dull moment with you guys! So so funny! Glad to see captain Erns had a guy in to check on Paul’s handywork, lol. So love your vlogs, always make me happy! So thank you guys! ❤️🐕❤️
Another entertaining video guys Thank you. I thought you were all going to end up in the canal; not just the dog! And good to see all of Ernie's hard work rewarded with a promotion to Captain. Well done Captain Ernie!
Hi Neil, sadly Ernie had to step down from his newly promoted role as he struggled to control the tiller with his paw so Paul currently still remains captain at least until I gain more confidence 🤣😊
Hello Lìz Paul and Ernie. Just watched the vlog, we really enjoy it every week. Great laughs. Your hair looked really pretty Liz, just love the colour. See you next week.x
My hair suddenly got more and more orange from the start to the end of this vlog, I've literally just dyed it brown again bit it's come out a little darker than normal (you'll see in a couple of vlogs time 😬) Thanks for joining us again and we are glad you enjoyed it Jayne 😊
Hi Paul, Liz & Ernie. As one of your subscribers I enjoy following your travels round the waterways. My wife and I love the countryside and are CRT supporters. We’ve walked along the towpaths up and down the country from the K & A to Llangollen, Stratford, Anderson boat lift and many other places. I was pleased to hear you were at Bugsworth and will look forward to your next vlog. We have caravanned in Marple and have explored all the Peak Forest canal. The views are lovely with many interesting walks. Sadly now in our 80s our walking days are over and vlogs like yours give us much pleasure and reminders of places we’ve been. Keep up the good work.
Wow David you certainly have travelled the countryside and covered lots of lovely areas. Our next plan is the Llangollen and we are looking forward to that. Thank you so much for watching and joining us each week and we are glad you enjoy them 😀
Ha! That bit regarding the boxes on the roof sounded ALLLLL too familiar! You can tell Paul the yank who does his accent (badly) was applauding him and yelling “yessssss, mate!!!” 😂
Great vlog . Ernie did well as captain bless him. Poor Paul, you must have felt like a dipstick. However, at least it was a simple problem that was easily resolved . Have a great week guys ❤
Looked like Ernie was really eyeing off that tree in the field on the other side of the canal! Oh Paul! What would Ernie say..... Thanks for your Vlogs
🤣🤣 Ernie had a lot to say to Paul after this little error 🤣 but at least it wasn't anything costly and was just a case of a loose wire, even if he couldn't see it himself 🤣😊
Hi guys. I enjoyed the vlog, lots of laughs. Nice to see your son and his partner oh and (I think you said his name was Dodger) their dog. Don't feel too much like a dipstick Paul. How does it feel to be demoted now you have a new captain called Ernie??? ATB to you all. Thanks for sharing. See you next week. Take care and stay safe. 😊
Hi Yvonne, don't feel too bad for Paul's demotion as sadly Ernie had to step down from his captain role as he was unable to hold the tiller in his paw correctly so Paul's back as Captain...for now that is, until I master this steering and take over 🤣😊
Great vlog as usual 👍Glad you enjoyed your son coming to stay with you after your little blip with the electrics. I asked my hubby to listen to what Paul was saying, he said he needs to check all of the wiring. In theory he was right, but at the end of the day it's all elimination. RCR did great only keeping you waiting 5hours, hubby said it would be a week 🤣🤣🤣
Rcr are pretty good, they have a policy of 4 hours for a call out so all was good. Paul did feel a bit silly as he had checked all the wires twice before the man got there 🤣 oh well another lesson learnt 🤣😊
I keep having to duck, those bridges are a little too low😂😂. I wonder what is going through Ernie’s head when you finish the blog, his eyes say it all. Have a great week, so you next week.

Paul don't feel bad about overlooking the connection, it happens to the best of us. At least it wasn't something serious like a burnt out solenoid or starter.
Captain Ernie I notice that dogs and cats, which travel on the canals, don't seem to have registration tags. How do registration tags work on your side of the world? For us, in theory in Alberta, dogs and cats do require a tag.

Beautiful. Did you pop into Macclesfield? I used to live there for a couple of years, very historic place xx
Hi Dawn, no we didn't actually but we are on the way back down the canal now and not far from maccesfield so will pop there in the car as I need to get to a shop. 😊
There’s a lot of one way roads around there just be warned - I used to get lost when I first lived there! X
I gather you didn't do the magnificent peak forest canal lovely moorings at Bugsworth ( now called but worth for tourist reasons)
Yes we had a couple of nights there, you'll see that in next week's video 😉😊
Xx
Thanks for watching 😊
I've just been watching some early vlogs about your battery replacement with the expensive one. Was it one battery to replace the three?
