Great musicians. I'm now 71 and remember paying a DJ sixpence as I recall to play 'Apache' from a record booth at Surfer's Paradise when I was about seven years old { whenever that song came out }.
Such an easy respectful relationship between these two. They've come a long way since they were 16 and 17 and to still be good friends now says a lot about them.

Then the thought occurred to me that with Cliff being a Christian this song could easily be seen as a Christian song about the Rapture. Just change "baby" for Jesus or Saviour and change "her" for His and it all fits. Think about it people. Think about the rest of the words in the song. The song was released on 2/10/1959 so on 2/10/2022 it will be (7+7+7)+(7+7+7)+(7+7+7) years old. Can Hank B. Marvin play guitar or what? Using the plectrum and fingers at the same time! He used to live in the Hills here in Perth but heard that he recently moved back into Perth.
