Thanks for this!
The music is really overpowering your voice. It would be a perfect volume for b roll
Ok good to know, I'll keep it in mind for the next one, thanks!
Thankyou Kornel. Hope you're keeping well. Very informative post and also simple presentation. Best wishes for your cinematography career and keep up the good work.
Exactly what I needed to know, thank you. Happy to subscribe!
Awesome, thank you!
Wonderful advice I'm just getting into photography and this one video taught me so much about the world of SD cards. You're obviously incredibly knowledgeable and have been in the industry for a while. You remind me of my uncle. Thanks again for the info! 📷 🎞️ 🫡
Wow, thank you, glad it is useful to you. Good luck and have fun!
Nice video! However the music is too loud.
Noted, thanks !
I have to put CC on the video. lol
I think it is perfect music lol his voice is punchy an a1 sounding I wonder his mic
I gree . Your information video it fantastic and even the music I like. I just wish the music was someone a bit lower.
.... and terrible.
And in every YT video.
Great video. thank you for sharing the information. I wish I watched this before I purchased some new SD Cards.
Perfect review! This video has resolved my confusion to buy a new card for a fuji x-t200. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for this wonderful info and video quality is excellent 😍
Thanks mate! This is actually one of the most helpful videos on the subject here on youtube
Glad you think so!
Good job. Thank you!
Thanks:)
Good job kornel. I'm watching in Brazil. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks, glad it was helpful
Thank you. Just what I needed.
Glad it helped!
Really informative, thanks!
Very informative, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
we can barely hear you for the added background noise !
Nothing I can do now, thanks for the feedback though
Great stuff, well produced review.. I do agree with other commentators that the music is a bit munch while you're talking. Otherwise perfect!
Thank you!
Great info, thanks! I will check the SD Cards Bags/Cases and music is fine, just some audio gain adjustments maybe
Thank you, super information!
Thank you, nice video with easy to understand info
Glad it was helpful!
Very enlightening , thank you😊
Thanks for this very informative report. So glad the SDXC I cards are going to cover what I need. So many reports telling us we need the SDXC II and v90 on the card. Thanks.
Yup, it's just marketing bs most of the time, was confused about that years ago hence the video😀
I'am Your Newest Subscriber Great Videos.
Thanks for subbing
Explain everything I needed thank you sir

Thanks for the video. Love the the tips ( SD POUCH) New Subbie
Welcome!! Nd thanks for the sub!
VERY HELPFUL THANKYOU.
very helpful, thanks!
You're welcome!
good advice brother
Thx really helpful
Happy to hear that. Thanks for watching!
Very very good explanations. You are very articulate and speak clearly and fast enough.
I just got a Sandisk Ultra 64gb SDXC UHS-1. Is it ok for 4K video? 1080p? I only really care about video.
Good luck with your channel. Keep the videos coming. I suggest videos for youtubers that vlog and/or make taking head videos. I understand cameras and used a canon AE-1 for many years. I am a beginner with new electronic cameras and recently got a canon m50. What is your opinion of the m50? I could use advice from someone like you who knows what he is talking about.
Your video music is way too loud. Music in a video should be subtle and not noticeable unless you think about it.
Thanks for making videos. I will definitely look for any new ones from you. One last thing. You need a thick skin. Don't let yourself get upset about negative feedback and definitely don't answer with anger. Just thank them for the feedback and move on. There are a lot of jerks out there and some who are nice but not careful with how they express themselves. A comment can be very insulting but true, so take the good from the unpolite stuff. I fight with my brother all the time over texting because of misunderstanding. Texting is a terrible way to communicate, but it's all we have in this case so take advantage and look for value by ignoring hurt feelings.
Thank you very informative ..
Glad it was helpful!
Hey man new subscriber here ! I love the videos you put up they are very informative ! I’ve watched this video maybe 4 times . Which SD cards would you suggest for m1 mark ii Olympus ? For both slots ?
Thanks for the sub! Same thing applies to all cameras my man.
good video .. but i just wanna give some tips .. u can lower ur music background abit it will be good :D
Haha, yeah well can't do it now^^ Thanks
Thankyou very helpful
Glad it helped
Thank you for the infos
Hope it was helpful
@@KornelFlint yes it was good work keep going
The camera has to have the extra pins to take advantage of the higher speeds. Only handful of ultra high end. cameras are completely compatible with the type 2 cards.
My cameras have that slot and I wouldn't consider them even high end let alone ultra high end^^
Just bought the Xtreme 64gb (the yellow one) hope it's good enough to shoot fhd 120fps and burst
Many thanks for the help
Omg so helpful! Quick question. I heard you need to have a UHS ii card to shoot in cLog. Is that true?
That will depend on the camera, but I don't think that the card type is dependent on the log profile but the resolution and frame rate.
THANKS! SUBBED
Thanks for the sub!
Thanks
Good video quick question Can I use the SanDisk 32GB Extreme PRO SDHC UHS-II Memory Card with a fpv tink hulk drone?
No idea, google might need to help you out
Thank you for the detailed video. I wanted help on something hoping anyone can answer my questions... I use a ( canon EOS 5d mark III ) and i want to know which card is best to use for making HD Video preferably in 4k? and which card is best for taking fast photos? or for Bothe? as i have the mark III i don't know which card these days have the compatibility to shoot 4k video with this camera as it is an old camera now.
5d3 does not shoot in 4k, and the sd card slot tops out at 45mb/s so in this case you would be better to get compact flash cards as they will work full speed (up to 160mbs) but if you don’t want to go down that road my main recommendation still stands - Extreme Pro 64gb
thanks dude...please suggest me the best sd card for my Sony a 7 iii for 4k videos.
You have the answer in the video:)
Music little loud ,great video!
Ok, thanks
What card do you suggest for burst shooting in the studio. I am not sure at this point if it’s the card I use that’s not enough or if perhaps it’s my strobe. My strobe says recharging time is 0.5~2sec. Any advice would really be appreciated. Thank you
Unless you are shooting in more than 24mp you will be fine with the extreme pro uhs I
question will it work the sandisk 1tb extreme pro sdxc uhs-i card for the cannon g7x mark ii & new g7x mark iii black?
I don’t see why not, but don’t get that big of a card to begin with, 128, or 256 if you really need it max
Very helpful Kornel, i just purchased a super fast sandisk 128GB card Extreme Pro with 1700MB/S read and 1200MB/W and it will not work in my D850 Nikon, camera will not read it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Check if the write lock on the side of the card is not accidentally switched on, and than try to format the card in camera.
I have a Canon SL2. What card will transfer video onto my new iMac the fastest?
You need a fast card reader and alos a fast hard drive to have the fastest possible transfer speed
hi i want to ask some question, we know that larger resolution need fast micro sd speed write, my question is what will happen if i use class 10 to record 4k in term of video quality, because i cant find comparison video class 10 vs u3 recorded video side by side. i hope you can explain to me, and maybe make a video side by side comparison, thank you.
The card has nothing to do the video quality, it will either be fast enough and the video will save to it, or it will buffer and the video will keep stopping to record, the quality won't be affected at all
Love your video.Could you please help me if this works to my Nikon d3100 before I buy.
Yup, shouldn't be a problem
Is hard to hear what you say, the music is to lowd.
What’s the best to use if your trying to store videos with audio from your laptop onto an SD card?
I have a Anker 7-in-1 USB C Hub with 4K HDMI, 100W Power Delivery, USB-C and 2 USB-A 5 Gbps Data Ports, microSD and SD Card Reader. I’m just trying to load videos from my laptop on to an SD Card just to have for safe keeping’s. Is it possible to do this?
SD card isn't designed for safe keeping, it is a temporary or intermediate storage medium between the device that captures the content and the computer that will edit and archive it on another medium eg: hard drive, ssd or in the cloud
@@KornelFlint : so would a portable hard drive be more beneficial to me if I’m trying to store something long term?
background music too loud, informative video anyway.👍
Beyond Amazingly Great video! Looks excellent and pro too :) The backing track audio music is too loud and was distracting from the content. Very helpful video and I love the info on backup recordings using a 2 card system in camera.
So you record every time using backup setting 2-card system in camera?
I will go with some 64gb Sandisk Extreme Pro cards
Thanks for the feedback. Yes I shoot everything to 2 cards, both photo and video, gives me an extra backup, redundancy and peace of mind, I highly recommend you do that to.
I’m going to shoot in Tanzania for two weeks and will be using my Sony RX10M4. I have two SanDisk Extreme SD card that are 128GB. I’m planning on buying more, and see that there are even larger sizes now of 512GB and even 1TB.
Would you consider either of those?
Nope, unless absolutely necesary for professioanl reason I would stay away from cards bigger than 128gb, to risky
Recommendation for fuji xt4 plz..
Watch the video, same applies to all cameras
Which card would you recommend for shooting 4k 10bit 200mb/s video?
you will have to get the uhs II cards, probably 128gb to get decent record time
Great video and information. I could do without the distracting music though. Hard to even hear you.
by the way, do you recommend any card reader?
Oh man I love the Pro Grade Dual Sd one, it is super fast, magnetic, usb C - but pricey
Don't think you mentioned in the video but how many times have you encountered a card failure? It seems reviewers way overexaggerate how much of a factor this is
With san disk cards? Never, and I’ve been using them for years. I guarantee that those must have been people just constantly abusing one card
Why the background music is to loud ? I need to hear u not the music ;) ,thanx for the video it was helpful.
Well sounds perfectly fine on my speakers and headphones so not sure what most of you are on about, but I'll pay more attention to the music levels on the next one. And you are welcome!
thanks for the video. Background music is way too loud :-)
Thanks, roger that, will keep that in mind on the next one
i own the sandisk extreme pro 64gb SD 170mb/s can you please tell us how to properly format ?
File system ?
Allocation unite size ?
Use exfat, and format in camera or device that you intend to use for the best stability and compatibility
@@KornelFlint is this option good for using it on my camera for photography?
hi kornel. maybe you can help me with this one. I bought the sandisk extreme pro . 170mbs 256 gb sdxc V30 I and i cannot record in 4k on my 5d Mk4. Do you know if this card is good enough?, Ive seen post online with slower cards telling that they worked very well on my camera. So im a little confuse. Please any help is welcome.
I am a Sony shooter currently so can’t help you.
@@KornelFlint ok, t hanks anyway : )
Kornel wich Sd card you recommend for me? I have a7iv soney camera and I have sandisk extreme 128GB and sandisk extreme pro 512 gb but both ofvthem very slow when I take videos 4k
Get the UHS II cards
Those 2 sd cards I have not UHS II?
Read what is on them. They don’t make a 512gb UHS II card
It SanDisk Extreme Pro microSDXC C10 UHS-I U3 V30 A2 512GB and SanDisk Extreme® 128GB microSDXC™ UHS-I.
Yes exactly, UHS I not UHS II and you shouldn’t use micro sd cards with adaptors if you care about speed either.
Very helpful!
However, No music is always better. I hate EDM or rock music on any of review contents. Very disturbing
sir what is the best USB Card reader to use?
Any usb 3.0 card reader will be fine
The background music is a bit too loud.. Need to tone that down a bit. Other than that great video
Can't change it now, thanks though
Nice tips.👉😀✅🇵🇭
Thanks, glad you liked it
Can I ask if Sandisk High Endurance sd cards good for dslr? 1080/60p max.
Those are intended for drones and dash cams, they will work fine with any camera however I would not recommend using them with an adapter (they are micro sd, and most cameras take full size sd)
@@KornelFlint got ya! Thanks, sir.
So this card would be able to handle 4k 24fps fine?
depending on the camera codec bitrate (just google it), but highly likely yes
@@KornelFlint okay, thank you for the super fast response
Nice video, but the music is too loud.
Noted, thanks
music is too loud when you are speaking. just lower it a bit then raise it back when you're doing b roll. thanks for the info!
Can't replace it now, thanks for watching
I spend 100$ on a sd card for my sony a7r4 and it gives me an error ! You think this extreme pro will work good for photography on this 61 megapixel camera
yes
64 is okay? Don’t need 128?
What and how much do you shoot mate? Multiple 64 gb cards will be the way to go👌🏻
Thanks for the info but the music is very annoying.
You are most welcome, and roger that!
Sandisk 64gb extrem pro
And sandisk gold 64 gb
both are same
Both or
Sdxc1
U3
class 10mbs
V30
And just 170 and 150 mbps
What is main difference?
Which one is best
They are not the same, gold has half the write speed of the black
@@KornelFlint tq ... for fast reply bro
Plzz suggest one for

good tutorial , but music Sir is disturbing very much .

Would it be possible for you to repost this video without the music. It is very distracting and I'm finding it hard for following along and absorb the valuable information. Thank you in advance.
Unfortunately youtube doesn’t allow to change the sound, and deleting the so far most watched video isn’t really something I want to do, so it is what it is 🤷♂️
Hi Kornel, Thankyou for this topic. I’m a new comer 4K shooter. Do you thing the older version 95MB/s run well for shoot 4K 100Mb/s? Or should I upgrade to 170MB/s or uhs-II ?
The older cards work just fine for 4k 25p for me, only need uhs II cards for 4k 50p
Music too loud bro and you speak too softly under it. Hard to get the info.
One of the first videos, will get better. Thanks for watching
Is 512gb good for cams?
Yup, but can't think of a single good reason to get it though
You are way off with the data speeds. Maybe you think about bits when you talk about bytes.
The video speeds are on the C, U and V markings. Generally fit Full HD you need C10 or U1 which is 10 Mbytes / s. For 4K typically U3/V30 i.e. 30 Mbytes/s. These are what count but what is listed as the maximum write speed.
Each camera manual will tell the card requirements.
Telling someone to check the manual isn't particularly helpful advice, and besides that this is real world experience, if you go with those kind of speed ranges you shouldn't have any issues regardless of the camera, brand, or codec.
Great content. a little advice, lower your background music, have a difficult time hearing what you are saying
Ok thanks!
The music almost covering your voice
Noted
I got the SD 128GB - 170 MB/s Extreme pro, is it good ?
Besides the unncesary risk with the high capacity - yeah it's a decent card
Music is too loud for an informational video.
Sounded good on speakers and headphones whilst editing, can’t do anything about it now🤷♂️
I can hear the music more than what he is saying
Sounded good on speakers and headphones whilst editing, can’t do anything about it now🤷♂️
Music too loud
Roger that, thanks for watching
Das heest Vidschoooo
Thanks for informative review. But it feel like a sponsored video all the same. And you could have put in a disclaimer stating that.
Lol, all bought with my own money, and video produced of my own back without any support of any kind from anyone.
@@KornelFlint Right, well I suggest you write that in the intro. I also miss some critical perspective in your review. You know, every product can be improved. Anyway, keep up the good work.
I missed purchase this i thought it was a sd card for phone 😤
The cards in this video are intended for professional use not mobile phones
Can you please recommend a card for the Lumix S5? Ill be shooting 4k 10 bit. I believe the max shooting mode is 200 mbps
In that case you have to go for the SanDisk Extreme PRO uhs II cards, and problalby 128gb as well - they are expensive!
I hate to say this but I use this card and it messed up on me for the first time after 2 years 😞 otherwise I’d agree
Cliff Fennell did you constantly just use one card?
@@KornelFlint I used the same two 256GB cards since I bought the camera 2 years ago
@@CliffFennell Then you didn't listen to the message in the video:) I specifically talk about using a lot of smaller cards instead of a couple big ones, it's a peace of fragile plastic, if you use it a lot it will eventually fail at some point so the more you switch between cards the longer they will last
Great advice. Thanks.
Soundtrack, unpleasant, distracting.
Noted!
good info, but the music is so annoying man
Noted
Ugh that music in the background 😩
Haven't seen that comment before^^
Music makes your voice less clear. It becomes hard to understand. Keep it simple
Noted, thanks for the feedback
The louder I make it to hear you the louder the music gets!
Music loud and clear. Cannot understand most of what you are saying!!
👍🏻
cool music, the talking was annoying but ok...
haha, ok thanks^^
