- So far north and such an amazing place the isle of skye is scotland stunned me at every turn but now its over, time to start slowly heading south but not without a final day of exploration on the island

I’ve loved the Scotland series Adam. So happy you got fabulous weather & had such a great adventure. I’m with you on the peace & quiet thing, I hate hiking where there’s loads of other people & always seek out the quieter walks & places. Prefer to be totally alone out hiking to be honest. Aye one of the villages on lewis has no locals left its all holiday homes and lets. Even the ex cooncil houses

Best mountains in the UK. The main ridge is like an 8 mile long Crib Goch with steel toecap. Average time for the traverse is about 16 hours.
As for Talisker Bay, what a wicked place. Big thing there is the distillery which makes what many people think is the best whiskey in the world.

Parking for the fairy pools goes to the local community and is well worth it. Prior to the car park being there the single track road was dangerous - bad parking - and frequently blocked to emergency vehicles .
if thats the case then deffo worth the payment

Wow What a stunning location with that track going right up the mountain with those water falls and pools fantastic location for wild camps. I bet you will be giving these locations a re-visit at some point in the future who wouldn't . Shame that you didn't go any further but that last location was just out of this world what a location to live I could live in a place like that the sea mountains the clear streams and no social media brainwashing us. It was quite moving when you said it was your last day on SKYE this adventure has just been brilliant.

Hi Adam, glad you had a good time in skye, why didnt you get the ferry from skye to mallaig it would have saved you the long drive, just saying, weev been up there and enjoyed every trip, if you want to know the weather look out the window!!! weev had all 4 seasons in 1 day!!! great times, kids complained its raining as we were walking, my comment was its not acid rain enjoy it. when back at the camper they would say what a great day weev had,!! they still talk about the trips when they were younger!!! life is for living, enjoy every moment!! take care buddy.

you didn't have to pay £6 to park. On the way to that car park, there is a free car park on the left as you drive towards that point, a few hundred metres further back. A little further to walk but well worth it to save £6.00. It was £10 in a proper camper van, if I can remember rightly.
Mate, I find it hard to believe that a looney with blue hair can make a video that is so emotive, I do like it when you have a moment, I live in the Highlands and you still managed to bring a tear 😢 I love seeing people enjoy what I have on my doorstep, loved the scotland series, well done, great video's, be safe

insomniacs possibly we used to drive all ok the uk for a good party/rave deffo were messy weekends lol, ...... think the relentlessness of modern life gets more to me as i get older its really difficult or expensive maybe to truly break away but i guess in the uk these moments and days out in the sticks and countryside are a great reset to keep going with the dull grinding days, nothing like standing the top of good peak on a blowy day taking it all in thinkin f**k it all, todays been a gud un 😉

Loving your videos, you’re as mad as a box of frogs and fair play, one thing I’m not clear on… you talk about HGV training, are you a truck driver? If so how have you never been up to Scotland? I’ve been a trucker for 20 plus years and an average year for me included about 26 countries, everywhere from Greece to Italy to Latvia to the arctic circle in winter for winter testing and even the Canary Islands in the truck. I’ve been very blessed in the job I’ve had as usually we get time off in these places, just gutted I never got one of the Iceland trips like some of our lads. Pick the right company and you can travel and bring in 46k plus a year. Safe travels buddy.

Brill vid as usual, and more memories for me. Unfotunately cant walk very far, I have back probs. The muscles go into spasms causing severe pain. But I have an E-mountain Bike, and luckily I can sit on it all day without pain. I rode up to the Fairy Pools 2 years ago 👍BTW If you go to Bike parks, Most are are in forestry commision land, Like Sherwood Pines. Like Sherwood pines most of the charge £8 for parking, some charge £10 😡
