Nice! Ferrothorn I feel is one change away from being top tier meta, imo. Honestly, you can argue it’s charged moves that are the issue (flash cannon and mirror shot are bad, Thunder is OK but not the best). I think tbh it’s bullet seed though. IMO, while the energy generation is good, it just doesn’t add up in terms of damage at all, not enough to justify that is. Even now you’re seeing 1 to 2 turn moves rampant throughout the meta; whereas 3 to 4 turn moves near gaurantee put you at a disadvantage. Incinerate, a noteable exception, is given absurdly broken parameters to balance out its slowness/clunkiness, e.g.
Either a bullet seed buff or Vine Whip given to Ferrothorn would elevate it immensely, imo. I also love using another anti-meta grass in Cradily, who I think also has a ton of potential like Ferrothorn. It’s also really bulky, and while it’s typing stinks defensively, it has really awesome offensive coverage, and it’s charge moves are really great.
I think Cradily is great as well. For Ferro, I feel like it's always been on the fringe of almost being meta for all the reasons you stated here. If it gets some sort of buff I'm so scared that it would be too much and then we'll be stuck with a problem for 3 months. Now, in saying that, grass has been terrible for so long, so maybe it's time to add some good!
Ferro is a beast! I randomly threw together a Poliwrath Dragonair Ferrothorn team, and went on an insane 36-14 run over 2 days at rank 17-18

I actually did try it out to make a vid with regular Hypno and Munchlax, it went terrible. But maybe I’ll try again today with shadow Hypno

Man, that opponent with the Qwilfish was annoying as hell. Not because they were good (because let's be honest, they really weren't that good at all), but because they were using that idiotic exploit to prevent the final Pokemon from getting switched back in right away.

@@Vergyverg I think they do it by minimizing the game before their last Pokemon is forced to come back in, but you can tell they did it because that delay was loooooong.
