The word 'genius' is thrown around far too often in Hollywood. But Louis Ck is the real deal. He wrote, directed and edited this masterpiece tv show for 5 glorious seasons, and had it not been for some unfortunate events, we would still have it most likely. He is a master.

This show was ART too, another word that had lost its meaning because millions of untalented fucks wanted to pretend to be artists too without the work and innate talent.

Louie ended in 2015. They didn't make him stop. He actually agreed to make many more seasons and bailed on them because he had the idea to do Horace and Pete.

Extremely well-crafted. Your channel definitely has a great future. I'll be keeping a close eye on your videos. Don't give up! RUclips stats can be annoying with its ups and downs, but with videos made this well, it will eventually find a nice spot in the algorithms.

can't help but think this would have gotten alot more views if the title was better. After this i can't say he destroyed TV, i can just say he added alot of changes and originality to the format that i'd like to see more of

Louis' real life projects, his series named after himself and that crapola with Alan Alada at the bar were miserable. He might be a genius but he writes some of the darkest, weirdest sh*t I've ever seen.
Stick to stand up is my thought on the subject. And I know, ''You're wrong'' is coming from every other direction, but Louis' dramatic works are the dream killing nightmares of a depressed slob. He slouches through them in despair and hopeless meandering.

Nice doc. Love Louis and his lengthy blunt interviews about the business.
However, Lucky Louie was a huge mistake. How could he put a (self-admitted) experimental new show format on HBO during Sopranos' prime? When people were waiting forever for new seasons with nothing else to watch?
He could've become a household name if he put out something every Sopranos viewer tuned into.

I loved listening to him talk shop on O&A. He seems like such an unmotivated loser because of his act but the dude is driven.

Something people don’t ever talk about is the tragedy of a comedian and even more so we don’t realize what it’s like to be a good looking person in this world and to be a person that is unattractive or feels inadequate and that’s something that Louis CK has always expressed in his comedy and will never know what really happened but what I do know is some piece of shit woman wanted to feel powerful and exploited him I know he jerked off in public and all that other stuff but you know what you don’t just do it unless people egg you on and make you feel like it’s OK he thought he was on top of the world. He was trying to express himself. He probably wasn’t very good with women. He probably developed some fucked up relationship with that woman where there was an imbalance because she didn’t find him attractive, but she still used him, and when he did what he did to her probably thinking he was turning her on she took it’s as an opportunity to exploit him and try to get some money or attention the fact is, if that was Brad Pitt, she would’ve found him attractive when a man is in attractive women are less inclined to flirt and talk with you in fact, you’re ugly sometimes that’s the difference between sexual harassment and flirting. If you’re good looking, you don’t get charged with sexual harassment, sexual harassment is what you do with someone ugly tries to approach you. It takes a lot of integrity as a person for you too sometimes make that distinction that you’re a good looking person and the only thing that this person did wrong with your repulse by the way they look.

Hey Ronnie, do you even watch the videos you upload? Looks like you just use an AI engine to generate visuals and narration and just upload the result blindly. How can I tell? The title of this piece is as absolutely wrong as it can be: "Louis CK destroyed TV". But the content shows the opposite, praising his creativity and innovation.

I love how comedians and “comedian-esque” people will acknowledge every other standup under the sun except Louis. It’s almost funny watching them trying their hardest not to name him.
