I'm now retired from shooting, living in a new area. I remember being on 99 foxes some years ago, it got to the morning of New Years Eve, I walked out and sat in a seat not far from our farm cottage, more in hope than expectation. I hardly ever went out in the morning but sure enough I got number 100. Nobady else around to see it, but I remember lying on my back laughing at the sky. A special occasion. I never got on with those digital scopes though, too old for button pressing. Well done mate, keep up the good work.
You’re never too old matey, I’ve got a scope to set up later in the week, so hopefully we can get over to the sheep farm, as it’s been a while since we’ve visited it
@ hardly there are more and more of them around. It’s only the clueless clowns that don’t see the damage they do and the amount that are in towns and cities. It’s bad enough we have people defending and demanding protection for vermin like grey squirrels while our native reds are being decimated. You can teach ignorant
Hi Steven , Yes they are, the blackbird and pheasant are also brilliant alarms too. Thanks for commenting matey, hopefully someone will have picked up a tip or two 🤞🏼🤞🏼👍
Well done chap. Had a call from a lady a few weeks ago worried about a Shetland she has, it was covered in bite marks all over its back end. Set up a wildlife cam and sure as eggs are eggs? A fox was responsible, all during daytime. Dealt it a 42gn headache and problem solved. Must say there are more around me than ever. Not moaning as it gets me out at night. All the best matey.
Well done matey just one more to go. I had to wait 2 hours the other night for a fox to come in. I couldn't squeak as there was a shy one around so patience was key that night as well
I've had more foxes in the sheep field behind my house than anywhere. I think it's the permanent pastutre and the amount of worms from all the dung 🤷♂️
Unusual and very unlikely things certain do happen while foxing. Last night I shot a fox that I thought was carrying something small...it had a broken jaw...just hanging there...your fox certainly had unusual tail position...
Indeed it did Jim, No it’s the same hide I built during lockdown, but there’s been some new viewers that may not have seen it before. Have a great Christmas matey, I might get round to phoning you this month

Poxy foxes are everywhere. I’ve got 3 in my urban garden every night. Crapping everywhere
Well apparently, I got preached to last week, that because of us, they will become extinct !

Blimey, have you got that footage?
That needs to be shown
@@predatorprotectionuk No sadly did not keep it mate. With hindsight I should have to show to antis if no one else.
@jon1801
Buggah !!
Well done matey just one more to go. I had to wait 2 hours the other night for a fox to come in. I couldn't squeak as there was a shy one around so patience was key that night as well
The weather isn’t helping either, one minute it’s cold, then pouring down, and last night 15 degrees 🤷🏼♂️
@predatorprotectionuk I know it can't make it's mind up.
@jimwood
I just don’t know what to wear Jim 🤷🏼♂️🥴
@predatorprotectionuk yes it can be a tricky one when the weather keeps changing. Just don't go out in your birthday suit
@jimwood
Ah ! Now then, that’s going to one of two things,
1. The video will go galactic !
2. I might get arrested 🥴🤣
Good one!
Hmmm, well it turned out to be a long night watching sheep, I kept falling asleep 🥴
@@predatorprotectionuk "Restful' outing then David.
Nice 👏. 🤙🦊

Yes I’ve sat and watched foxes digging through turds to get beetles, it’s a shame the sheep had gone last night when I went back

It has now, it’s in a barrel of methylated spirits 🤣
@predatorprotectionuk you tanned it?
@misterlewgee8874
No it just preserves it
@predatorprotectionuk I didn't take my skinning tools...I'd better get back into that habit ...they're light..afterall
Nicely done, David. Patience paid off. Do I infer correctly that you built a new hide for this venture? Take care, my friend.
Indeed it did Jim,
No it’s the same hide I built during lockdown, but there’s been some new viewers that may not have seen it before.
