  • Here's my experience attempting to do no added sugar for 14 days during the holidays. I had to start over a few times, which I explained in the video. This was the hardest challenge I had to do because sugar is in almost EVERYTHING. In this video, I document my 14+ day experience trying to quit sugar.

    There's really sugar in like EVERYTHING. That's so annoying and makes it so hard to quit sugar unless you buy EVERYTHING completely natural and processed. Yikes!
    Thanks for being transparent about everything, even the multiple times you had to reset, because I know people don't take kindly to failure. Our reliance on sugar and carbs is really challenging to deal with, so thanks for documenting the times you slipped up as well.

      right!? you really have to buy everything raw if you want to truly over added sugar. I'm slowly but surely eliminating most processed foods. I'm also finding other alternates as well.

    Brioche buns and happy birthday on the 5th! LOL! You crack me up! I've been doing my best to avoid added sugars as well. I don't typically eat any candy or sweets, but if my protien powder has a bit of cane sugar or if there is a bit of added sugar in foods that don't seem sweet, I don't worry too much about it. I don't feel like that's enough to cause any real health problems. I go for fresh fruits when I'm craving something sweet. Personally I think the key is to avoid the things that obviously have added sugars and not worry too much about a bit of ketchup on a burger every now and then. On a side note... you need to get that box of candy out of your house! 😂

      best thing i can possibly do is clear out all the bad food in the house. i put the box of candy in the closet so it's not staring at me. haha. thanks for watching. i had fun putting this one together.

    I found that even if I have fruit my sugar craving is spiked and eventually I will eat sugar, I IF and omad most days as long as I keep away from fruit and juice drinks AF beers evn spike my sugar cravings.. hi fat low carb usually helps with cravings too...keep trying you'll get there

      thanks for those tips! i think i need to stop snacking late at night. i also think it'll help if got rid of all the snacks. lol

    I lose 5 pounds in 2 weeks I quit all sugar and energy drinks I was addicted to them .
