I personally always just imagined the chalastor ship later in the timeline. We don't know what Vaggie did to be in hell but other than Charlie she's the most interested in redemption so it just made sense to me that if a character was redeemed and went to heaven it would probably be Vaggie first. Charlie could never go and if it is somehow possible for Al to be redeemed (theres speculations he may have sold his soul) he'd definitely be the last of the main cast to leave because he was a murderer and serial killer with no faith in redemption who believes he belongs where he is. Even if they don't become a couple it'll be interesting to see how their relationship develops in the show with them being stuck there and all. It's nice to imagine Al comforting/supporting Charlie and stepping up as Vaggie and the others are redeemed and leave hell over time.

I just realized that even Charlie is taken. She doesn't really care about what Alaster take interest in her and she also seem happy that Alaster wants to form a relationship with her. Vaggey seems okay with whatever Alaster doing. It's just my opinion
