I shot Cory’s hunting setup just before elk season. It was setup at 62-63# and very smooth. I bought the 80# Xpedite. I’m very happy with it. Remember, you are the best author of your own opinion.
Nice Review! I have the 2020 model Xpedite with 80# and 30" draw. I shoot a 666 grain arrow (yeah I know, the number sounds strange and I wasn´t planning to build that weight; but i´ts a hell of a weight!) through the chrono at 273,1 fps. These bows are beasts at heavy weights. Might cut down to 616 grain by choosing lighter broadheas in the future but I absolutely love this setup.
This is strange because I have a first year xpedite and it’s set at 29/70 with high let off mods and with a 417 grain arrow i was consistently getting speeds in the 320’s. Make me wonder what they changed.
Keep up the good reviews Garret. I have the old school version, geometry is the same except the grip. Yes I laid mine on top of the new one. 56lbs. 29 inches 389 grain arrows 292FPS, Fast cams 305FPS. I do want to check the poundage on a draw board, feels more like it stacks to 62ish. With the high let off mods this is a real sweetheart to shoot.
I hope I can squeeze out a 30 and 1/2 inch draw with that grip taken off... this could be a one pin bow out to 40 yards with a 420 grain arrow... just set it for 35 and smokem...
@@bornepatrol perfect... I know if you buy a 70 pound bow and turn it down to 60 you get about 1/2 inch extra in draw length.. and that's what I thought I would do... did that with my Full Throttle... I sure miss that bow in fact more than a couple of my ex-wives... Vaughn thanks for the response.. That's mighty fast for that heavy arrow...
@@bigrainbow25 here’s me at a measly 26.5” draw and 60lb. I’m shooting heavier arrows faster than any 70-75lb bow in the past. I walked 12 miles yesterday, some days I’ve done close to 20miles and at 60lb I can draw back all day. But my next xpedite will be 80lb and 500grain at 280fps. Manageable, I even shoot target with my 60lb bow. Funny shooting a speed bow for 50:720 or 90/1440
Bowdog... PSE has had the evolve cam out for five or six years...same cam on most their bows... they get their speed out of this bow by pre-loading the Limbs and the shorter brace height...the Mathews cam looks like two frisbees on a short stick...😂🤣
I like the Xpedite NXT (own one), like your reviews and like the PSE rep, yet I don’t understand how he is suggesting that dropping from 70lb to 60lb you are only loosing 13fps? I have never seen a bow not loose close to 20fps dropping 10lb of draw weight.
Just got mine set up, 60-70#, set at 65, shooting at 29 1/8th" measured dl, 356 gr superdrive 23's at an average 326fps + or - a couple (*edit this is with the HL mods set at 80% I do have the low letoff mods too, but haven't tried them out yet)
Don't want to start any sort of debate, but low 300's is not even close to 360. I find it hard to believe that at 30 inches and a lighter arrow, you'll get an extra 50 ft/sec. Isn't it time that bow companies started to be a little more realistic with the IBO ratings?
I got the premonition hd in 2015, its shooting faster than this one (not by much) but still faster. It was a mid price bow. $750 ready to go... 345 ibo
Buy the PSE speed bow to have a speed bow. No wait! Buy the available speed mods too to finally own the promised speed bow. Sounds like a joke, but is not. C'mon PSE....
Kinda similar to the bowtech ibo speeds with the flip disc. The trade off just isn’t there for me with the speed mods, I need a more forgiving more when at full draw
Except bowtechs bows coming with it since it's the same mod. You don't have to buy anything. Also the letoff doesn't change if you're in comfort or performance, it's just the draw cycle correct? BowTech definitely has the best tech out there right now in my opinion.
Another failed add of promised speed by PSE. Bow says 360 fps but based on those speeds you're not going to get close to that. Start advertising the realistic speeds.
I normally wouldn't respond but I find it funny how when PSE guys are challenged on there "speed bows" they automatically say the competition is a Matthew....at least you recognize who truly owns the bow market.
@@Thisshitcrazybruh ...I looked at the specs...The Xpedite gets more speed and the ONLY Con is that it's 1 lb. heavier AND a few hundred $$ less...I'll stick with the Aluminum Xpedite all the same...But thanks...

Xpedite NXT vs Evoke 31 ? How do the draw cycle and valley compare ? What about stability ?
Thank you !!
I see an Xpedite video. I like it. I am a simple man.
I wish everyone was so easy to please! lol
This bow is excellent because you pull less weight smaller chance of injury but you get the speed.
That’s a good way to look at it, thanks for watching!
