I like their clothes too. It's one of my favorates in asia. In europe, I like the 18th century style, the ancient and 19th century greek attire and turks's from ottoman empire costume in medieval period.

It is "traditional" clothes in Korea because it has been passed evolving generation to generation and people still wear it on traditional holidays and in special events like their or their daughter's wedding or for their first birthday !!! North Koreans still keep this Hanbok tradition even more faithfully than their southern siblings. It was not that hard for Hanbok to survive Communism and Western culture influence because Koreans have been always Korean for five thousand years of glory and tribulations before communism and America. Keep your tradition proudly. But do not not try to resuscitate your ancient forgotten practice. Once distinct it can not be "traditional" anymore and pretending for it to be traditional will only block you from creating a new tradition for your next generations to come.
China claims this is Hanfu but Hanbok is SO incredibly complex and beautiful, it is uniquely theirs and is part of their history and culture...dont try to take it away from them! Love from Vietnam
Hanboks are made with different skills compared to modern clothing so its harder to make them. Plus since modern hanbok designs have to combine modern clothes with traditional clothing, it requires a lot of time to make one. So hanboks are usually expensive so people wear them as dresses.
@@최진경-c4s but the north korean hanbok or joseon-ot that they wear to go to work is like the traditional one and it look really great for the younger generation to wear it..you guy's don't even have the cheap one? you kidding me right? is it because the korean is more influenced towards the west culture,where they need to wear short skirts and tightly clothes? you know in Malaysia the women in the government sector always wear the national attire like the baju kurung and it's really elegant and classy.
