- The new Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries DLC "Solaris Showdown" has arrived. Let's take a look at all the gameplay aspects, story, new Mechs and weapon systems together. In this playthrough we will start a new career as a Mechwarrior thrown int o a conflict against our will.

The gameplay of Mechwarrior 5 is split in two different parts. On the one hand you will have to manage your resources, hire new crew members, outfit your Mechs and travel through the Inner Sphere star map. But the action starts as soon as you get into the cockpit of your Battlemech yourself to fulfill contracts on the battlefield to earn more C-Bills and progress the story. I will review the weapon systems, battlemechs, show you how to build the loadouts and train your pilots and take a look at all the different mission types and upgrades of the MW5 Heroes of the Inner Sphere DLC.

As a last hurrah for this season, I would not mind seeing the 'Baradul' hero mech full of Dan's equipment and crazy weapons.
Clans is in bound...Enjoy those Marauders!!!!!!! they are collecting dust! Put the weight caching on the MAD-BARA and Just have a blast with it. Imagine a Marauder with the Firepower of an Overlord drop ship!!! Atlas? Smat-less... Have a final grand slam tour before Clans!!

@@Muz040769 I would say find an omni mech. Add all the Dan’s upgrades, add the clan supercharger, and add all the fun weapons…. Especially if they take few slots.

Go into the options menu and max out the cheat sliders. It's faster. Enjoy!
Yes on all Dan's stuff. Time is short. Use them. For that huge weight caching, you will need to find some Dan's Volumetric Rescaling (adds critical slots) to make room for all of the tonnage. It is only the MASC MK (C) does not ramp up. The MKI through MKIV ramp up and have damage like normal MASC and superchargers.

YES! Use the Dan's stuff. They all make me think of my brother, Dan, who would actually think of crazy things like that. He sadly passed away this year. He was the one to introduce me to your channel.

I think if you've played this game for as long as you have, you deserve to go a little wild with the cheat equipment. Use your custom mechs if you wanna, I've never seen them in action so I'd definitely watch them

As others have said do a Dan's mech, or spread out the Dan's goodness between a few of them.
Use the 300 weight cache to go all out on a melee mech. Rating 400 engine, max hardened armor, good weapons - and no other weight saving items like endo & ferro.
Or go the big bug zapper with the weight savings, 400 engine, stuff the engine with the dan's 50's, and continuous beam lasers on something.

if you really want to, you can use YAML's f10 console and forcibly remove the two free bara mechs. i think the command would simply be "removemech mad-bara" and "removemech mad-bara2" or something similar.
(and for those who want to play with said mech (and other limited mechs) you can add mechs with a very similar command.)
Honestly, at this point, I want to see a weird, impossible, "he's gone plaid"-level mech.

I want to see a melee atlas. Like, just a melee Atlas. Cover it in those extra armor modifiers so it's nearly impenetrable, upgrade all the Myomeres and actuators for maximum mele damage, add MASC to close in quickly, and a pair of top tier trench knives or brass knuckles. That would be fun.
Baradul without the Headphones is lik Superman/Clark Kent without Glasses.

There are a couple things that help with weapon jams. A gyro, an upper arm piece, and the efficient ammo loader electronic. I don't remember the specific names for the first two
Make the ultimate Dan Mech with all the goodies!
At that point, just make a Dan Build. Slap that thing on something like an Atlas, strap on some jump jets and some of your most powerful weapons and then just got absolutely wild on people.
Buy the Dan stuff. Only a couple weeks until Clans comes out.
For the Dan's stuff.. do something crazy on one of the Marauder's in storage just to see what kind of Monstrosity you can come up with
I think that catapult needs Dan's Big Dumb Heat Sink.

When it comes to going all out before the new release, I say do it! Yes it may feel a little disingenuous, but you gotta have some fun at this point, right?
Things like Dan's weight 300 are for those silly heavy weapons like the LRM 120 that weighs 30 tons or stuff like that

FYI Bara coyote updated his mod so now you will see hostile asfs and there is a lil surprise if you kill them

Catapult with the 300 ton caching and then a pair of LRM60
Hey @baradul make a Dan's mech with the most Energy hardpoints you can find and a 400 engine (for the energy slots) and stuff it with all the heavy Lasers. Most Tonnage for the slots. Slots and heat management will be the bottlenecks with Dan's weight reduction.

See, i think my YAML setup glitched on me, because i got that catapult as a store purchase in 3040......once i got a good look at its performance and its 'innards`, i was sure something was borked. I had to convince myself thaf my pilot took one look inside, thought it was alien tech, and slapped that sucker jn a box in the back of the dropship, for fear Comstar would havs the company rubbed out if they found out about it.

Which mod are you using that gets you the actual Rifleman IIC design? With the head and such.
There is even Dan's Heatsinks 100. Yes, I have one of it in every mech. It's crazy op, 6 ER PPCs are a joke in terms of heat. Volcano bioms? - you can swim in tha lava and fire alphastrikes all the time. Downside? Hotseat is useless. Do it, have some fun and farm some assault parts please. (:

if you feel guilty about how you got the quick draw then just run it stock. it is what it is. that being said clans comes out next month and this game will be on hold im guessing and when you come back to it your probably going to have to start new
Imo the dans stuff is a bit cheaty for general play, but if you were to load an assault up with maybe 4 artillery arrays to see what that looks like i would not be opposed lol

I think it's time you use more of the cheat stuff, at least, if you can afford it.
You should make one God Mech with the one the developers named after you with all the Dan's stuff, just to see what it can do. Then don't use the Dan's stuff for anything else.

lol, weight cashing 300? i feel like only a 100 ton mech can benefit properly from that, unless you want to fuck around with it on the crb to see what kind of chaotic shitshow you can turn that thing into imagine, a crb with a 400 rated engine

The Dan's equipment is just flat out pointless. Why not just install an invulnerable mod.
The RF autocannons are bad. Every shot uses the same amount of ammo as a normal gun but does half the damage. Use a normal AC-10 or a Burst fire for better effect and less spread damage.

I find it extremely hard to emphasize with progress that feels cheaty and this stuff is simply boring.
