- Philips QT4011/15 is a very good trimmer and I have been using it for 5 years without any faults. It suddenly stooped working a few months back.

It may be locally fabricated by some vendors. But not original. Philips uses their own footprints which they usually don't sell as spare parts.
I have washed the trimmer and it is not switching off.what to do?
Thank you bhai. I have dobne the troubleshooting and definately the battery of my Philips QT 4011/15 has died and needs to be replaced. I checked online and there are so many options (esp one with 1.2V) which I dont think will work. Can you please share the link where I can order duracell batteries and get the trimmer to work again? thank you once again.

Woh meter rotate hota hai but jo usse connect woh upar niche nhi hota isliye clipper bhi kaam nhi kr raha ...

Brother I have same trimmer they can't running but battery is ok and motor is ok charging light glowing but I on the switch they can't run its only Orange light glow what's the problem

I came here to see how to disconnect the batteries from the board.after seeing your video of connecting wire to the back of charger, i am wondering whether i should drop the plans of replacing the battery :D
If the trimmer is old, don't buy new batteries. Because if there is a fault in PCB, it may spoil new batteries too
My trimmer is running fine when I remove blade. If I trim the hair once I fix back the blade, the blade get stuck and stop moving however inside needle is running continuously by skipping the blade. What could the reason? Isn't it getting enough charging to rotate the blade while cutting the hair? Or blade sharpness is gone?
Anyone is facing the similar issue?
It looks like motor is not getting sufficient torque and thus gets stuck. Try cleaning motor once
I have Philips QT 4011 trimmer, it starts automatically anytime without touching to it (the switch is in proper OFF position, I have to press the button ON and OFF again to switch it OFF). What could be the reason.
Electronic switch might be short circuited inside , due to moisture and oxidisation
Can we use 18650 battery it has nominal voltage 3.7 and peak voltage 4.2?
Yes, u can use it. But it won't fit inside trimmer. And you will need a charging circuit for it.
Can we buy PCB then? Does anyone sell it?
@@Lithium09 PCB for 18650 (power bank PCB ) will be available on amazon. But not sure how you will place it inside the trimmer

@@Lithium09 Local SMD PCB won't be available. But someone might give a compatible PCB. But it might harm the battery.
How do you know this battery is 0.8v each ? It is not written anywhere on battery
It is 1.2 to 1.5V each when charged. Any AAA cell will have that rating. A healthy cell at the worst-case scenario when fully discharged should have a minimum 0.8V, (here 0.8x2series). At this level, it can be force charged and used. But below 0.8V its as good as dead

Usb cable has 3 wires in it ....do we have to connect two or three wires to it
Red is positive. Black is negative. Green and white are for data transfer between computer and mobile. So don't use green and white.
It was having red green and white only
There should be 4. Strip the skin and check again
Can i use any other wire other than usb and then attach usb socket to it??

USB output is 5V. And it is connected to the motor

USB charger of any phone will work. But if charger is low current rated, it might heat

Don't connect 15v charger directly to motor. It will be very high
But here the problem is once we connect directly, there won't be having any control over the on and off button. Also feel it's having a higher speed too as it's vibrates alot.
An ON off Switch can be added easily to the usb cable entry point
But brother direct supply dene se motor khrab ho skti h bcs 5 volt output deta h data cable and trimmer ko 1.2 volt chaiye so it's harmful
Trimmer motor Voltage rating is 6V max. So USB will give upto 5V. Its safe
