I was, am and will forever mourn the loss of John.
He was not just handsome, he was multi talented, grounded, real, interesting, funny and his future would have been amazing.
A tragic accident robbed us of an international treasure.
Athletic, musical, intelligent, a director in the making and soooo much more. His attention to details and things being ‘just so’ is interesting.
Can You imagine if He had have got the part of Hans Solo.

You will always be remembered as a legend.
Jon Erik would be 65 if he were alive today. I'd imagine if he had lived (and if Cover Up didn't make it) he would have secured a role in a prime time soap which were still popular in the late '80s and probably would have been a fixture in the many syndicated series of the 90's. He would have been a perfect fit on Baywatch, Hercules or one of the many Star Trek incarnations.
I met Jennifer O'Neill in 1999, but since she was also involved in a shooting,
herself, I was hesitant to bring up Jon-Erik's death! She still looked great, though!
I would love to see his face as a 65 years old man with AI tech.

Jon had a special quality.
I never realized how naturally funny he was!
This guy, was really handsome, and a unique individual, with a nice personality. Usually, most good looking people...Men, or Women, are usually arrogant, or really bitchy, this guy wasn't. I remember when he died, I was 14 years old at the time. And can remember how many Women loved this guy, his face had a big presence, on Television back then, and even watching him now, after all these years. Henry Cavill sort of reminds me of him, with the handsome, chiseled look, build, and kind demeanor. He would have been 63 years old in 2020. Sadly, his very own mistake/accident ended him, and his career.

To comment further, its hard to believe that Hexum is even better looking in this interview than in his appearance on the Merv Griffin Show. If you saw the interview on RUclips, Merv was making Goo Goo eyes at Jon Erik the entire time. Or "Merv The Perv" as one person called him. A physical presence on a higher plane than nearly anyone. Past or present. Certainly more than anyone in the last two generations. For a Greek, or in this case, Norse God presence, a young Charlton Heston or Clint Walker would fit the bill. Or close. Other than that the young Hercules himself, Steve Reeves. This is an example of the physical presence of Jon Erik Hexum. Not five men in Tinseltown history with that combination of Cheesecake and Beefcake. Until a tragic mistake derailed a "What If Career," like perhaps no other.

Jennifer O'Neill had shot herself in the stomach in 1982 (reportedly an accident as she was checking to see if it was loaded) and then Jon-Erik shot himself in the head while trying to be funny. Unreal. He was THE most beautiful man (with an incredible voice, too) that I have ever witnessed. Ever.

Is it just me or did Jennifer look older than her true age? Not that she didn't look beautiful. I calculated her age and I think she was only in her mid 30s to his mid 20s. Maybe it was also the 80s makeup and style.
She looks and sounds very mature. Not a youthful 36 year old.

BULLDOG'S COMMENT IS SPOT ON. There is no actor alive now as good looking as Jon Erik Hexum. By any taste or standard. Brad Pitt's mother would tell you Hexum was better looking!! He was simply absurd as a physical presence in any role. As I've commented before, Hexums biggest competition now isn't an actor at all. At least not yet. The Raider quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is a perfect doppelganger for the great matinee idol Tyrone Power. Unbelievably good-looking. If he could play on his looks, Tom Brady would be left in a ditch.

The interviewer was absolutely horrible. She had a lot to work with here, but she didn't do her homework and was unprepared and unprofessional.
He died less than a month later. Taken way too young at the age of 26.
How can I make my voice much more deep, like his voice. I have done when I had 20 some voice lessons, I can get my voice from a low not like a baritone until a F#6 in my head voice. But my voice is all the time in the up tenor mode and without depth. I want to get to these beautiful deep notes when I am speaking:(

That interviewer is horrible! Embarrassing. I was so in love with him when this show was on and I was very sad for a long time when he died. They are great; interviewer not so great.
