I remember taking my nephew few years back to a RUclipsrs football match in Southampton. It was between sidemen (ksi) and others who Like sidemen, I had never heard of ever. I was just blown away but what I witnessed. Here was I thinking oh it’s just done crappy match for kids to watch. How wrong was I? Stadium full! Crowd just losing their shit for sidemen, especially Ksi. They were treating them like premier footballers. Those that bought vip tickets were allowed to meet them after. It’s only then I realised the influence and money pull they have.

But that just isn't the case, the case is, Jake has been fighting and sparring regularly, KSI hasn't, if apples were oranges. KSI gets sparked rapid. I don't support either of them in boxing but Jake is wayyyyyy better and for obvious reasons.

To be fair, Logan had essentially an entire year on KSI for their second fight. All of Jake's fights have an asterisk next to them because of his opponents; he's never been challenged. If KSI is scheduling the fight out for next year, I bet he really advances his skills. KSI was the underdog for all fights because they thought he was physically outmatched/didn't have proper training. It's not going to be a blowout, it'll be a very close fight.

Woodly is twice Jake’s age and like six inches shorter. (Even though I know height doesn’t necessarily make or break a fighter). Askren had hip surgery and later pretty much admitted to taking a bag. These two also haven’t been boxing as long as Jake. They were in the UFC, sure, but you’re discrediting how much age and lack of boxing experience effect someone. If someone who had been doing karate for 3 years challenged these UFC guys to a karate match, I’d pick the karate guy. Same for kickboxing or literally any sport.

the gap is pretty big. this is a guy active in boxing for 2-3 years more, and has fought better opponents than ksi has, and if the fight is gonna be next year, the more training for jake and the upside are gaining more for jake.

Nah. It was basically a 50/50 split on public opinion in that fight. I follow boxing intently. I was backing KSI in the second fight against Logan. I’m not a KSI or a jake fan, but seeing JJ’s style in the last fight against tommy and how close it was compared to jake vs Tommy, I think KSI has a real shot at winning now. His style is incredibly unpredictable, aggressive, and fast. Idk if Jake is going to be able to get people to spar that can mimic his style.
If JJ works on his accuracy with his punches he’d be an absolute beast
Jake got more to lose in the fight than Ksi, if Ksi loses then like he said it's whatever to him and basically most of the people that's literally expecting him to lose in the first place but if Jake loses no actual fighters or real boxers will ever take him seriously again

But I don’t think you can compare Jake to KSI now. KSI hasn’t properly fought for 3 years and Jake has been continuously fighting for the whole time. There’s no reason to suggest that KSI couldn’t get up to Jakes level after training and having a some warm up fights.
KSI would have to dedicate himself for around 2-3 years to get to where Jake is, I don't think Jake is a great boxer at all but he is leaps and bounds over KSI, it just wouldn't be pretty my dude.
I dont think KSI will ever be able to catch up to Jake tbh. Starting off I think boxing just comes more natural to Jake. I think the biggest issue though is the performances under pressure from both fighters. KSI when under the pressure of all the fans watching him gets wild and doesn’t follow the game plan. He did this in both logan fights he just starts swinging. The only reason he won is because Logan was too scared to punish him for it. Jake on the other hand we have seen to be able to stick to his game plan even when he is in trouble (when woodley wobbled Jake in the first fight). I hope JJ can change this but now that he is fighting some rapper who doesn’t box, we won’t be able to see it till later as swarmz will not test his abilities at all.

Its a very lop sided fight, trust me I'd love to see Jake get humbled a little bit but as a boxer with his experience he's actually quite good. Imo JJs fundamentals are way off, he's got terrible defence, is slow and lacks power bc he falls into shots and keeps his frame low somewhat similar to what Gib does. He's also smaller than Jake. I don't see a world where Jake doesn't knock him out and I don't wanna see that.

He isn't throwing windmills anymore but he's still not throwing straight punches they seem rushed, keep in mind he fought terrible opponents, you could clearly tell they weren't there to win just for a paycheck. He was in incredible shape to be fair to him he's definitely worked hard but if he wants to win he should stay away from Jake and Andrew Tate. Jakes focused solely on boxing for a good few years now with the best training available and consistent fights he's just way ahead, a KSI/Jake fight isn't interesting at all imo it's basically KSI signing up to make money, nobody on his team thinks he beats Jake I promise. We've seen ksi he gets up all in your face and makes you uncomfortable in a fight, Jake has had a height and reach advantage in every fight but his opponents still fought at Jakes terms and at his pace, ksi got in Logan's face and didn't give him time to think.

Mentality plays a huge factor, there have been better men who lost because the underdog didn't want it more. I mean if you were right there would be no such concept as an 'underdog'. Ali lost to a lesser fighter, Tyson who you named lost to a lesser fighter in Douglas when Tysons head wasn't in the fight following his divorce, Rooney leaving and allegations popping up. Douglas wanted it more and he won. Same thing happened with Prince Nassem, who retired after his first loss because he didn't want it as much anymore.
In this game, in any game, that is at the top top level, fighters or players are more or less the same in terms of skill sets. Sure they will have different styles, but it comes down to mentality and preparedness. It really doesn't come down to 'who is better,' a tale as old as David V Goliath

Gonna be honest, Jake doesn't beat Logan in a million years. Logan would piece him up, Jake doesn't have dog. He's never been the underdog and never fought anyone bigger and stronger. Both JJ and Logan have been the heavy underdog and came out smelling like roses. Logan vs Mayweather should tell you how dangerous Logan was for JJ. Imagine what a top of his game, cocky af and undefeated Logan was like for JJ to deal with twice. He didn't even have a fraction of the skillset of Mayweather to dig him out of trouble yet JJ was the one to put Logan down and bully him, just sheer willpower and aggression that backed off Logan.
