Yeah I'm glad how he touched on both sides. Yeah you deserve to get paid better once your a big star but you also signed a contract because pf the privilege to to get to use the UFC place to debut when you had no star power. Like he said why haven't others left and started their own promotions?
@@craigman7262 its crazy that the ufc has had to tell their fighters to stop talking about fighter pay (sean o’malley said so in a podcast). Like jake paul really did make that big of a wave. I hope the result of this is better contracts for fighters and not silencing fighters into going elsewhere.

Best interview all year.....Ariel had great questions and was very composed, he stayed quiet when he needed to and asked the proper questions at the correct time. I wish, when Eddie Hearn brought up Bob Arum and Crawford that Ariel would ask more about that situation.
When Ariel asked Eddie if he thinks UFC fighters are underpaid you can see Eddie trying to talk his way out and then realizing there isn’t one lol

Eddie is a really charming dude. I see why he’s at the top of the promotion game. You have to have swagger and the gift of gab.
3rd time In 3 vids I’ve watched Eddie answer this exact same question about why the fight was so much easier to make this time around and he answers it with the same passion and sincerity as the first time he was asked. Gives credit where it’s due to Paul too. You can see why he’s the don of the boxing promotion world!

@@theot6950 is there something wrong with that they are both promoters and dana white played a major role in taking the ufc from nothing to a company that is now known everywhere in the world he's like the Tom Brady of promoters or if you are european the Ronaldo of promoters he's top in combat sports might be a bit of a scummy guy but you can't say anything about how good he is at his job.

Eddie is so right about the fighter pay. The share of revenue ufc gets is so ridiculous and i will also say that Conor is underpaid. Might sound weird but Conor doesnt get a fair share of ppvs in ufc...
I was shocked when i heard conor split 50/50 wirh the ufc when the floyd fight.

The fact that those two female boxer is making 7 figures and won’t sell half of what ufc 270 did is remarkable and sad for ufc fighters. Francis only make 500K compared to 2 female boxers that 99% of casuals won’t know.

It's funny how Jake Paul was taken as a joke at first but now his influencing the boxing world and MMA world. One thing I have learnt in life is to always never undermine such people like that who are always taken as jokes coz Most times they end up doing great things

I usually do something else while I listen to these types of interviews but this one was so interesting and enjoyable i had to watch for the whole time. Eddie Hearn is an absolute talent and speaks incredibly well. I can see him doing something to mess up the UFC later on if someone else hasn't once he feels like he is comfortable with the amount of money he has and just wants to do some good. Extraordinary
Eddie in MMA would be the biggest thing to happen in the sport since Zuffa took over the UFC.

Spot on - nobody has ever accused Hearn of not paying up. Problem with Ngannou is that most decent HW boxers would destroy him. Hard to match up
