New Springs on the 8355 Door

Today I replaced the Torque Master on the LiftMaster 8355 door with extension springs. The door runs way better now and the springs were actually really easy to install, almost easier than hanging an operator. I also may tighten the springs on the 8550 door so that it will balance perfectly again. Hope you enjoy! :)

Nothing wrong with using those type of springs. Set them right and make sure they have good containment cables, and you'll be fine.

The last time I went to Ace Hardware, to buy winding bars, They sell torsion springs
