This is a very good video. I always wondered about this port. I cannot do a cruise to Santorini due to mobility issues and this convinced me I was really not missing anything. But I do appreciate the video.
Santorini is fabulous - so I think you are missing out but that can’t be helped. Too many cruise ships is the main issue . Ruining the island! And absolutely do not use donkeys!!!! Inhumane
I so loved Santorini but could not stand the crowds. That's why I'm glad I flew into Santorini and stayed for a few days in Oia. I preferred the island of Syros though. Beautiful and no big crowds there.... One thing I recommend DO NOT take a big cruise line. Take a smaller one like Star Clipper. Takes you to so many more places and only sleeps 150 people. Wonderful experience!!!

Yes, unless you want to take an alternative means of transport. It’s quite far to walk it though I hear there is a scenic trail that some people take which I don’t know how long of a walk it is.

Yes. Same place they dropped us off that’s where you catch the bus back to Fira.
