The thing about MCU is you don't have a word as a writer. It's death by a committee. You don't decide anything.

I could be wrong but I think these writers are better at writing TV as opposed to Movies. TV gives you time to set up a story with a payoff over a number of episodes, while movies are one and done, even in a Cinematic universe. Don’t ask me why She-Hulk didn’t work.

Because it took two different She-Hulk runs and mashed them together. They took Byrne's fourth wall breaking, comedy run, and combined it with the newer, more "grounded" take on the character where she is more of a lawyer in a sitcom. So we had pretty outlandish cases and enemies with a character too grounded for them.

No the council of Kangs didn’t copy the council of ricks it’s actually the opposite

Yeah rick and Morty copied from the councils of Reid's, but because they were creative with the concept that when the MCU finally got around to doing the council of kangs it comes across as more derivative than when rick and Morty did it, the fact that rick and Morty often dissects their own tropes also doesn't really help as it causes the trope to feel less developed in contrast

She Hulk, for all its faults, I’m getting tired of everyone complaining about its tone and self-referential humor by “fan” and writers alike who apparently have not actually picked up a She Hulk comic. It’s as wall breaking as Deadpool if not more yet when they do it correctly it’s a problem. Most annoyingly is that if Deadpool had done many of the same things, people would have praised it. Does it seem like sometimes Marvel is trying to shoehorn female characters, this seems to only be compared to how much hatred anything female related in the MCU is instantly hated. How many people dump all over Ms Marvel while she’s been a breath of fresh air and one of the best things about the new MCU.

So, the MCU is using the multiverse much like the comics do...?

So Rick and Morty ruined the MCU. That makes sense.
