My older Sony Bravia smart TV stays on periodically the screen goes black and I have no audio for up to 10 seconds, then it comes back and works fine.
SONY Model No. KD-43X80J tried every step but the last one and still nothing, not even a flicker of light from the power on button down the very bottom of the TV. My buddy says "The power supply failed." Would it be easier to simply buy another TV? (It would be nice if I could get this one to work but it just ain't budging). I hope to hear back from you, if you think giving your last step a go will do the trick please let me know. I desperately want to try and fix this TV.
