33:30 That setup looks fun and pretty comfortable. I never played outrun, currently finishing Gran Turismo...OutRun next on list. Thanks for the play-throughs...
Great review, as usual. Yes, shorter videos are easier to commit to watching "right this moment", but, the long videos have their place too. Sure, a presenter can tell us about a product in a short video and use some B-roll to illustrate their points; but, your long stream of consciousness type videos show me a lot more about how a product actually is to live with. About what it can actually do and how it does it. I find there's a lot to appreciate about your chosen presentation style. Off topic; have you seen the new CB-408 handheld? It looks like a better E6 Plus, albeit with a more conventional design and a marginally smaller screen. It's $70, runs Android, has the RK3566 (IIRC), and has a metallic shell. I saw DeadFred69's first look video on it the other day and my initial thought was, "OGTechNick is gonna love this thing!" The only issue seems to be that the ribbon cable for the touchscreen's touch control layer are sometimes being delivered not plugged in.
You always help ease my anxiety over these videos with your comments, and I really appreciate that you appreciate what I’m trying to do. I’m going to check that CB-408 out! Thanks for informing me. I’ve been a bit out of the loop.
I just got the Oled switch, and im having trouble picking out accessories. Could you please recommend some things that i need lol? Really would appreciate it. Soon as i watched your video, i was like yea this what i need lol.
I think the Mobapad M6HD is a great alternative to JoyCon. They have the same HD rumble, and a lot more going for them in terms of ergonomics. If you haven’t yet, get yourself a BIG branded SD card because the internal storage fills up quick on the Switch. Man, there are so many suggestions I could make I don’t really know where to begin. If you have any specific questions later, don’t hesitate to ask.
I think between 2-4 weeks. Kinda hard to say. It seems like I get deliveries more quickly than a lot of other people, possibly because I live right next to the Port of Los Angeles. I’m going to ask the Mobapad rep and I’ll try to get back to you on that. Are you in the US?
I received my Mobapad today. They were delivered in only seven days. They definitely live up to the hype. They are soo comfortable to hold and I'm 6'5". I got very big hands, worth every penny.
You could probably start a discord server to keep in active contact with your community. Granted, you will need to find some close friends that you trust to help you moderate and manage the server, which is an additional responsibility. That said, real life takes priority, and if you feel the need to step away from content creation, or find the constant social media nagging overwhelming, we will understand as well.
They’ve been focusing primarily on Nintendo Switch, which is unfortunately digital only. I hope they start branching out and making controllers that have analog triggers too.
@@OGTechNick ah okay I wasn’t aware the Switch was digital only. Hopefully the next Switch will be analog but idk if it will matter that much lol. Great vids, bought the Black HDs because of your other video
It’s a custom tempered glass screen protector but they don’t seem to be producing them anymore. I dug up the AliExpress link from my purchase and there are a few designs available, but the Zelda one is out of stock. Here’s what’s left: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mPnJ2ra
Do you mean test a single left or right JoyCon/Pad, sideways with the SL/SR buttons? That’s something I’ve never really tested but it’s a good suggestion and I’ll try to remember to do that going forward.
Not with Mobapad, yet. LEDs come pretty standard with new controllers these days, but Mobapad seems to focus on the fundamentals. It’s kinda nice to have a brand that doesn’t use flashy colors and lights. Just HD rumble, great sticks, and superior ergonomics.
These controllers are pretty cool. I love when companies give you options to customize

Thanks for watching!
Nice review! I just ordered the black version and I'm so excited for it to arrive.

@@OGTechNick Thx for getting back with me bro, really appreciate it.
I just bought a black one today.
Nice!
How long does shipping usually take?

@OGTechNick Houston, TX. I figured it would take a while since it coming from overseas.

Does mobapad have any stuck when you slick it in the grip
They slide on nice and tightly, but they don't get stuck.
What are those little skull pad covers??
You can order them here: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mOKl8es

Do you know whey Mobapad decided to go with digital triggers instead of analog?

Hey where did you get that screen protector? Or is it a special edition switch.

Can the joystick interchangeable with other controller example like gulikit?
can u play or test on single pad with games like mario kart or mario party? good video tho!

@@OGTechNick exactly, for co-op games or non online games like mario party or kirby! thanks a lot for the review!
No rgb or light up buttons ?

@@OGTechNick that's a shame I like when the buttons are more visible playing dark
@@MCMLXXVI well there's muscle memory..
Rgb kinda overrated, especially if features like HD Rumble are not included
I never use rumble
