This Chinese New Year LEGO set (and the other Chinese New Year LEGO set with the dragon) would go really well with LEGO NINJAGO sets, especially when you are trying to build your very own Ninjago City layout!
Remember when the figures leaked and we thought they were Ninjago figures, the dad being a redesigned Cyrus Borg😂 (the Ninjago fans know who I'm talking about).

Lego is from Denmark. Why not release it in Denmark and other countries? Lego sets inspired by different cultures are so cool and people should not have to go out of their way to get amazing sets like this one.
While I like those exclusive prints for the food, those foods exist as real parts. It makes it feel really fake to me, kinda like something they would’ve done in older LEGO sets. I’m thinking specifically of the 1x2 tile with TNT printing on it. Other than that, a great set! Hope it comes to America soon.

For everyone complaining about this set being exclusive to South-East Asia. I live in Asia and these sets sold out within a week or two after release so not many people got it and most of the people who got it are scalpers. You can say whatever you want but Asia deserves some exclusive sets for once. Britain already had their Olympics CMF series, Germany had their World Cup CMF series, America has brickheads and SDCC sets and Asia hasn’t been getting anything except crappy New Year animal sets for the past few years. Aside from that, just be happy you can buy polybags off shelves. In Asia, every single polybag is given away only with a minimum purchase amount and the sets cost more here than they do in America. So none of you have any reason to complain about these sets being exclusive to Asia.

Such a beautiful set; thanks for reviewing it, j2g! It's upsetting and an absolute shame that LEGO® decided to make it an exclusive to Asia-Pacific/Australia region. It ignores that there are Chinese fans of this set all over the world. Also, I'm quite certain this set has a wide appeal even beyond those of Chinese heritage. LEGO®, if you're reading our frustration, please reconsider your decision and eventually release it worldwide. Perhaps something like keeping it exclusive for a year from the original launch and then making it available worldwide? Please, oh please!
Let's just hope many of these printed tiles will apper in Ninjago... My only problem with this set are the food prints.... They based crab on lego crab design, but chiken wing and fish are not :/
Such an amazing set. With great prints and figures. Lego should’ve sold this online for everywhere else. But sadly they have only the dragon dance brickhead and year of the pig promo which is weird. Why not all and not just two. Obviously lego knows we want them.
Why is everybody sad/disappointed that this is a china exclusive??? The America has gotten soo many exclusive sets. And when a different country gets a cool looking set than everybody is mad that they get a exclusive set! Be happy for them! Think about all of the exclusive sets North America has gotten!
Ik it’s not in the us but I do want this set the chairs and the food and bowls and just the all out exclusive Items that are in the set that I’ve never seen in any other set but doubtful anyone in my family will pay a lot for that since it’s not in the US
