I've been working on engines for a very long usually I just spray out the Jets with carb cleaner and stick a little piece of metal like you did down in the hole and it clears it up I had one jet yesterday that I just could not get clean no matter what I did to it I use this idea and it worked this is the most ingenious idea ever thank you so much buddy

I thought maybe someone broke a drill bit inside. But white stuff kept coming out so I stayed with it for a good 15 minutes. And it finally poked through. Toughest one so far , but it did do it. Dude I love you, I got a old quad in my backyard wasn’t starting, removed the carb and both jets had tons of build up. You saved my life

This trick is perfection, thank you so much for sharing out of about 7 video's ive tried this one worked flawlessly, Mortal Kombat.
I ended up using guitar string ends which end up being like a high E every string has them so now I save them when I cut them for the guitar for this, used one super thin then one gauge up wound G for my 150cc, I boiled it, soaked in chemicals, held on a torch and nothing would poke thru until this drill method came up.

Is it corrosion that hardens up so much inside the pilot jet?
It is. It is the same chalky, crusty stuff all over the bowl. When it is solid in the jet it feels like metal, but is just the corrosion.... Takes a minute , but it works every time.

ive given up. I tried heating it, I tried drilling it. A new one is $20.
