I think there's a good chance that Jordan could have won maybe 1 or 2 titles without Pippen. But for him to win all 6 he would have needed a very good point guard or a very good passing forward. Pippen is essential to those championships because he alleviates the offensive and defensive burden immensely for Jordan, not to mention his play making and passing skills really complimented Jordan and the rest of the team. Charles Oakley didn't get along with Pippen because Pippen joined the Bulls very confidently and actually rose to be a great player. It also probably didn't help that with Pippen and Horace Grant developing into much better players, there was no need for him in Chicago and he was ultimately traded to New York. So yeah, there's a lot of bias coming from Charles Oakley's side.

I think there's a good chance that Jordan could have won maybe 1 or 2 titles without Pippen. But for him to win all 6 he would have needed a very good point guard or a very good passing forward. Pippen is essential to those championships because he alleviates the offensive and defensive burden immensely for Jordan, not to mention his play making and passing skills really complimented Jordan and the rest of the team.
Charles Oakley didn't get along with Pippen because Pippen joined the Bulls very confidently and actually rose to be a great player. It also probably didn't help that with Pippen and Horace Grant developing into much better players, there was no need for him in Chicago and he was ultimately traded to New York. So yeah, there's a lot of bias coming from Charles Oakley's side.
Pippen did not alleviate anything on offense for Jordan. Pippen was a liability on offense.
