- For my last day in Guatemela (1 week) I decided to take a stroll through the poor and luxury side (Cayala) of Guatemela but I don't visit alone. Thanks to my new friend, we visit both ends of Guatemala City learning more about the neighborhoods, Local markets and cultural music. I just have to clarify something, in all countries there are poor and rich, Guatemala is no exception, if you visit the USA you will be surprised by so much wealth, there is great poverty.

@@Paintyourlifestylegood decision on not taking the big camera brother, you always have to take precautions. You never know.
I agree with not using the big camera. I live in Guatemala City (in Cayala) and people need to pay $100 to be able to use the big camera there. In Zone 1 where you were, it's not a good idea to walk around with that. My fiancé is Guatemalan and he would never let me walk around with that camera! We will create a video from Guateamla City soon but we will use my GoPro. @@Paintyourlifestyle
