I think the Christians who fully understand the faith know that we are all sinners. All of us are damnable, as even being "boastful" or "gossiping" is enough to be condemned by the Lord.
I have a cousin who is gay, and lives with another man, but I don't berate him for what he does with the other man. I think he is aware of the scriptures, as my family is largely Catholic (I'm not Catholic), but I think the Lord calls for us to recognize our struggle to remain sinless, and to have humility in asking for forgiveness from him.

Off the top of my head I think it starts somewhere around 30k/year but I live in Alabama and cost of living is dirt cheap here.
