- What happens when you can't find CCI or Remington brand primers for your Lee Pro 1000? With shortages occurring over the last couple of years maybe this has happened to you. I made a short video of what happened when I could not find these primers. This video shows a simple device I made that solved the problem.
I think if all of us who watch these videos send a few lines to Lee, they would have no choice but to seriously study the introduction of some of these inventions as improvement kits. Greetings to all the full-will reloaders who for years have been fighting (and often losing) against the Pro 1000. You have to love a machine very much to try to solve its problems instead of replacing it.
Looks very elaborate, I solved this problem with an angle grinder. I made a series of grooves on the backside of the right rear upright so the shaker pin REALLY oscillates and the primers feed properly, almost down to the last one if you slowly lower the shell holder/ raise the arm.
That's a great fix you should sell the idea to lee
You have skills sir.
hi I'm interested in your change for the primiers, how much is the payoff in Italy? thank you
Here is the site on how to make it. ruclips.net/video/TEyRL9Cfo5o/видео.html It is important to make this change also to your press ruclips.net/video/j5JmqgoNv6g/видео.html
What would you charge to make this for my Lee Pro 1000?

I want one!!
+kw2798 I'm still in the setup stage of my 1000 progressive press and one of these would solve my primer feed issues.

How does one obtain specs & demensions
+Allen henry I am in the process of putting a video together on how to make one including dimensions and where to get materials if you do not already have them laying around your shop. I should be done with it in about a week or so.
Do you have schematics for that mod?
Here is a the detailed version on how to make your own, ruclips.net/video/TEyRL9Cfo5o/видео.html Hope this helps you. I have a pattern that you can download at www.dropbox.com/s/ks34s6hhmx9d18f/all%20parts%20ruler.jpeg.jpeg?dl=0
Make sure you print it at 1 to 1 scale and then you can glue it directly to your plastic and cut it out.
Thanks. We were loading .38 spl with my friends Lee Pro 1000 last night and the primer feed system was giving us quite a bit of trouble. It even managed to completely jam itself when a spent primer was left under the shell plate carrier and smashed the channel where the "TR2549 Sensor clip" part is. Took quite a bit of time to figure out what was going on and after solving the problem we forgot to turn on the powder feed resulting in about 50 squib loads before I noticed the powder level is not going down.
ruclips.net/video/j5JmqgoNv6g/видео.html This is a very important (and simple) fix that needs to be done to your Pro 1000. This fix keeps your rotating stage from bouncing around. Some people have said they took the cap of and ink pin and cut the end of it and used at as is instead of drilling and getting a nylon spacer.
can you make one for me i will buy from you
I have come out with a new primer system, video ruclips.net/video/AkEyyxALLhE/видео.html that is system similar to a Dillion. It is not feasible to make these primer systems for other peoples. The main reason is that each one must be hand fit to the press you are using it on, a lot of tweaking and adjusting to get it to work. For the new system their are links to make a lot of the parts on a 3d printer.
How much $ 20$ you would make a fortune
