  • I put this up as kind of trouble shooting help, as well as to show you where to find the rear sensors and how to service them

Hey, I know this is an old video but I noticed you said you had a "bucking"? I am also getting that. What did you do to fix it because you stated that this is a separate issue. Thanks!

Did this fix your issue until the new sensor arrived?

That is false , the speed sensors and g sensors (locking diff models) are independent from your 4x4 system . Your wheel speed sensors are used for ABS ( to detect wheel rotation and possible lock) , your VDC (do that it can reduce engine load , and apply counter brake pressure to another wheel, ELSD ( which detects uneven tire spin and brakes the other axle to force power to the axle that is making traction). In fact models that have a locking diff disable abs when going into 4x4 low range , or locking the rear diff

    Help with the BlueDriver, please
I cleared the Check Engine Light from the BlueDriver.
Then turned the car/engine on, the Check Engine Light still on.

If you didn't fix the problem, the check engine light will just come back on... What was the code? The Blue Driver isn't just a "check engine light reset", it is to help you diagnose a real problem. What was the code?

Had no problem resetting with other OBD II, just not BlueDriver.
Upon clearing the check engine to zero. Turning cars on still show Check Engine.
BlueDriver is not and was not able to help.

What was the trouble code? What does it say the problem is? The check engine light is there for a reason

The Suburban Hippie Experimentalist, I am referring after fixing the problem (s). You can reset from the app and view it on Android.
But once you start the Check Engine light is still on.
ATG Gold Launch and Snap-On were able to reset the Check Engine light.

So, you fix the problem and check for no codes, but still can't reset? If you have access to snap on tool why would you use the BlueDriver? Also can you reset it by disconnecting the battery for a while? I would write BlueDriver directly on this. They have a pretty good customer service and tech help. They will want to know what year and model of car. sorry I couldn't be more help!

Jessica Jenkins a good thing to do is to get a good obd2 reader that can read and systems. I know the blue driver can do it, as I have used It on mine. First you have to know what it is. Otherwise you are relying on the dealership. So what did it cost you to have that sensor installed? The blue driver cost 100 dollars... It sure helped me diagnose and fix my problem. Otherwise, it is a shot in the dark!

Also, any abs trouble code will disable 4wd. The truck uses the wheel sensors to make sure the front and rear tires are moving at the same speed before locking in 4wd. It does this so there is no gear bind on the transfer case du4ing shift on the fly.

If your 4x4 still will not Engauge you will have to replace all the wheel speed sensors not just one there must be damage to another one, there is no way to check which one is bad even a bit of moisture will send an error (ABS light). If your check engine light is still on it is something else beside the wheel speed sensor. titan's are known for exhaust sensor any leak would cause the check engine light on, common is cracked manifold bolts causing a leak.

Take it to autozone etc.. have them check and clear codes.

@@toddoonanichol5401 Not true... actually....my obd2 scan tool points out the problematic wheel speed sensor/s.
