Big thx for the tip on the Canpur IEM’s. Bought the 1+1 and the 1+2. Both shipped to UK for less than £40 with the massive discount. V impressed with both ESPECIALLY the 1+2! Superb. That Heart Mirror DD is damn good for thumpy, clean, creamy low end. Wonderful coherence across the DD and the 2 BA’s. Grt tuning. Wide soundstage. Good tone and timbre. Surprising details. Non fatiguing and detailed. No sibilance. No honk. No shout. Nice shells, and lovely faceplates. Comfy fit. Even the supplied tips were good! V good indeed. Only thing I did is replace the cables with Tripowin Zonies. 1+1 is good but far less coherence across the two drivers, to my ear. V v pleased with them. Thanks again.
Bro you are really smart. But these videos need to be condensed. If you make the vids like 10min max guarantee user engagement would be better and your channel will grow faster. Not criticism I only say this because your honest actor in this space and deserve more subs.
@@jakefarmer I agree! I like the longer versions because i think like that and learn so much. But i understand why some people may want shorter versions
Really enjoyed that deep dive into thoose IEM's... im still waiting on my ZNA's from China. Its been almost a month, do not order around Lunar new Year!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Oh dang yeah if you ordered them before Lunar new year you still won't have then yet. I got lucky and had all my packages get sent before lunar new year except for one which I am still waiting on. Lol
Ooh boy guess what, i got my KZ ZNA yesterday, and guess what? The left ear DD has a buzz when the bass hits like a torn speaker. Checkout my video on youtube, KZ ZNA FAULTY LEFT EAR DRIVER... ITS A SHORT VIDEO N U CAN HEAR IT WHEN I RECORDED ON MY MIC when the bass hits! Im refunding my money and getting another set of ZNA. Such a shame, it is a really good IEM!
Would you consider the dqs and the cxs to be practically the same IEM, same drivers, with just a different shell? Also, does the open back design of the das matter soundwise? Ks the zna open back as well? Thanks for your tear down!
Do you have a ranking of basshead IEM recs? I'd be interested in what your top picks were for sub-100, 3-600 and High end stuff. Or what your be all end all pick is? Appreciate your reviews.
Oh man, the problem is that I don't have any basshead rankings, but I do have like a all time top favorites for overall performance. I need to hear a few more basshead iems but overall best iems I'd say olina se for $100 and moondrop variations for $500. Depending on how much the Galileo is it will probably be another one of my top favorites as the bass performance of the liquid silicone DD is pretty darn good. If you're looking for good basshead iems I'd say ikko OH10 at $150ish and FIIO FH3 can be had for $80 used with similar bass performance but there are a couple treble spikes that need taming with a filter.
I'm thinking of ordering the kz zar but I'm really worried that the BA's arent connected correctly or something like some of those kz IEMs in the past were they had multiple drivers and/or BAs but they weren't connected and the sound only came out of the dd. Should I be worried about that anymore? I hope you'll test if the BAs work on this one. Also love your videos! I also loved taking things apart and learning how they work from a small age so I really enjoy watching your videos continue the great work!
I tested the BA and they definately work but they're not super loud, they're more or less mixed in with the DD which is fine. I'll post a video about it later. The ZAR is actually a really good iem if you're into a relaxed, dark, V shaped listen. Unfortunately I'm no sure if theyre better than CA16PRO or ZAS.
@@hi-friaudioman Well it's nice to hear that at least the BAs aren't useless. Well yes they truly seem like a nice pair but after seeing the PR1 Pros I now can't decide which one I want really. Shifting towards the PR1 Pro cuz it has better highs which I want and the deep bass, also it might be an interesting buy cuz it'll be my first planar pair. I have a week to decide so we'll see haha
i was torn between the ZAR and the ZAS in a recent purchase that i made. But what got me choosing the ZAS over the ZAR is one reviewer's comparative review of these two iems. In Tech Savvy's review, he said that the ZAR has more(extended) treble and and a toned down bass and sub-bass; and since i'm a bit of bass head myself, i got myself the ZAS(which is also priced much lower than the ZAR😊). It seems the ZAR is simply a retuned ZAS; as well as a few hardware changes in one set of BA's and as well as the dynamic driver(the ZAR has the slightly smaller xun driver; less kick on this one). Basically, the ZAR is for those who were complaining that the ZAS had "too much bass and sub-bass and not enough treble". As per Tech Savvy's comparative review, he said that the ZAS has more punch and thump to its bass compared to the ZAR. i guess the ZAR is the "people pleaser" version of the ZAS. Anyways, as i've said, i do have the ZAS and from what i am hearing, i don't think you can get this amount of detail and clarity as well as separation if the BAs aren't properly working(i don't think the dynamic driver can handle all that detail if it's just the only one working). Personally, i'd like to think that KZ has learned their lesson from their "Dud Driver Fiasco" and has since then improved their qc, specially now that they know that people will tear down their iems and test if all the drivers are really working. As evidenced by their recent releases, the KZ PR1 PRO and the ZVX, it seems KZ has turned over a new leaf. So i guess if your the type who prefers more treble and less bass, go for ZAR. But if you're a good ol' bass head, and you prefer more umph and more thump, then you might want to consider the ZAS instead. ...and oh, just in case you're getting the ZAS, make sure to give it some burn-in time. If you don't believe in the concept of "burn in", i too used to not believe in it; but when i got my ZAS, i did notice that after a while, it sounded a whole lot better as compared to when i first listened to it. Hope this helps, bro😊👍 ...and hey, GOOD VIDEO JEFF!!!🔥🔥🔥
One of these days I’m gonna win a giveaway I’m just gonna keep trying .my wife keeps telling me keep trying lmao so I will but regardless I love your nitch channel
I don't know why people are dumb enough to think kz would put a driver in, and deliberately not use it, as if they were pulling something on the consumer. They have ALREADY SPENT THE MONEY to install them. If they put empty shells in, they might save 20 cents. Or 40 cents. Whatever.. But then they would spend money reorganising the production process to accommodate this. No. No one does that.

After watching so many reviewers out there, I think I’ve come to trust your ears the most
I bought the DQS just to try them out and I have to say I kinda like them for the bass anyway,
I agree with you about the CXS! They blew my socks off for the money and I even bought some for my dad!
I think it is very difficult for this product to be compared with other products at the same price. Appearance, price and sound can crush many peers.

I have the KZ zsn pro , and I think they sound pretty good !
I have request
Would you mind review and tear down TangZu Wu zetian X HBB
🙏🏼
Do you think there is any way to mod the ZNA to reduce the BA attack and the DQS to reduce the honk and 6k?
Wow, thanks, now i know what to buy
what is the best thing to take for rock up to $35? we need bass.
Thank you very much for your work!

_CCA CXS_ is pretty decent for sub$30.
maybe try _Fatfreq Maestro Mini_ and the full fat _Fatfreq Maestro_

These are not sorted at all, and each product test is different, mainly because of what kind of sound you need.
nice and I am very impressed.

You can rest assured that this product still has a great guarantee that the configuration is real and there is no false statement.
