Sooo, after taking a closer look at this mod I can see a LOT of issues that ruin the experience for me personally Melee seems way too strong at burst damage (daggers literally have almost double the attack speed, what the shit?) Most if not all of the talismans are changed to a ridiculous extent with a sole role on buffing the character power far beyond their original effect e.g. Scarseals give you TWENTY FIVE POINTS in physical and magical stats, but increase damage taken by 100 and 200% for Radagon's and Marika's seals respectively. what's the point of getting extra 25 Vigor if you take double damage?. Another dumb example is Daedicar's Woe, 1000% extra damage taken, why would I spend a taalisman slot when I could just play no hit? That's just few, my point is that I don't enjoy overbuffing player's power in these mods Another issue is that equipment and spells got NO STAT REQUIREMENTS... what is the fucking point of this change? so I can level VIG and END to my heart's content and just let my talismans and upgrade levels beat the game for me? The showcased changes to the dodging - backflipping makes no sense for me not matter what in this game unless used with a flashy moveset mod. Plus the removal of the consequences of wearing heavy armor makes 0 sense for me, where's the tradeoff for having bulkier defenses? What's the point of wearing lower weight armor if I have the same dodgeroll with heavy sets while having much stronger defense? I can see the enthusiasm and love put into this mod, I just feel like it needs more time in the oven so far

@@porkchop-rc2pt Again, it's not that scaling is pointless (something I never said btw), it's that lack of needing to invest stat points to be able to use something is dumb in my humble opinion. You see, for me it's not the AR that I get from a weapon, it's the flexibility of my build in lategame that I enjoy, not having to care about that kills the fun for me
The only thing I hate of this mod is the character creator and the fact that single weapon scales with 10 of each attribute (depending of the weapon for example 10 dex 10 faith), idk if that is still in the mod but what is the point to level up to use a weapon if you can use it right away from the start
That's not how that works. You have to invest in your stats for weapons to be really worth anything. Say, if you are using a strength weapon with 200 damage and only 10 strength you'll only have about 212 total damage, but if you also have 40 strength it will do about double that damage. That all depends on how high the weapons scaling is of course for the associated stat. Also, the starter stats at 10 each are like that to allow for total build freedom.

But your spirit summons die as quickly as a lvl1 beginner in a Melania boss fight. Or they cost so much FP that you need to level up your mind to 40+. Spells seem to do a lot less damage. Poison mist, the spell that only ever gets used to kill the "Tree sentinel" needs to be cast dozens of times to proc poison. Why? People still kill him with this spell because he's a frigging cheater, they just have to waste more time.

radahn rune - falls cannot kill you. I see what you did there))
this video could've really benefited from a proper human voiceover.
getting audio right is the most important thing for a video
I think here in the near future I will be switching to voiceovers :)
Awesome mod, but that's all it really does. Mod the aesthetics of the game. The vanilla game still beats out this mod.
Reforged is a big pile of sheet simply put
Well said. It's adding very little that we haven't already seen. The game needs entirely new maps with new monsters, with new loot. Without it, these mods are just putting lipstick on a pig. The base game itself is gorgeous and GREAT to play, but once you've seen it all, the honeymoon is over.
@@atlantic_love Yeaa ,would love to play another FromSoft in open world similar to ER ,maybe with more npcs and cities or villiges ,or places similar to RTH
RTX 4090 Bro?
3070 actually, still does really well on 1440p
you do cool stuff
cool
a shame the base game is way better to play
this is just an inferior experience to have
That’s already what Serpentbone blade’s heavy is, and none of the weapons you’ve shown had any moveset changes from normal
Did you try looking with your eyes? It had the same animation, yes, but the poison effect is new. There were several changes from the norm, like the one handed greatsword R1 combo has a thrust attack and the straight sword uses some of the animations from the one handed form of Ludwig's Holy Blade from Bloodborne.
tried reforged just now and it made the game worse. got stuck on the tutorial sneaking past 2 guards. Game told me to parry an enemy and the fog never went away to let me through. uninstalled laughing my ass off whilst doing it. what a joke lol.
a lot of these changes go directly against the lore and aesthetic of the original though
Thank God the game is not really like this. It's cool and all but ya. Thank God.
This mod is just pure chaos. Would never install it. Seems like a downgrade.
Yeah. Reforged is significantly more reined in. With a base game this good, I always prefer mods that don't deviate too far from the vanilla experience. All I really wanted was a deflect and some difficulty scaling for co-op, and Reforged is great for that.
Ya, I was out as soon as it said "removes skill restrictions"
It's amazing fun, but to each their own.
@@Legendary_HoneyIt's reined in to an absurd degree. I had a terrible time in reforged, personally.
Guess this just shows that we all have different tastes.
@@Legendary_Honey the only things I hate about Reforged are the levelling system which being difficult as well and the reduction of our equipment or capabilities. I just wanted difficult enemies with enhanced AI, movements, poise and hp, not MAKING MY GAMEPLAY MUCH COMPLICATED WITH BUNCH OF RUNE PIECES
hate the spells
This mod seems to be realy nice unlike that pile of shet called Reforged 😂
what are your issues with reforged
@@bigaurum Nothing ,it s just the biggest pile of dog shet I ve ever seen 😂
@@seemenowudont7244this mod does everything way worse then reforged lol
@Sir-Vesh maybe they both garbage ,i dont use any
@@seemenowudont7244 Your opinion won't matter without playing it
Both of these mods are great
Reforged makes the boss ai and others way better
reborn just gives the boss moves some extra stuff
reborn got better open world map changes but reforged got new bosses
reborn just tweaks vanilla stuff while reforged adds new stuff aswell as tweaking vanilla stuff
Reforged also completely removes 99% of the cheese from the game so u cant really get busted at the start and breeze through the game unless you play on the easier difficulty
Nothing looks diferent to me but ok...
Clicked off immediately when I saw the sekiro deflect. Major gripe with all these overhauls. Having a sekiro deflect makes 0 sense in this game. None. It would require a complete rebalancing of everything to even come close to being balanced. No overhaul modders seem to understand this. Deflection is the most powerful defense and offense combined in any game Fromsoft has ever made. You can't just give it to the player for free. Sekiro is balanced around this being 99% of the combat. And of course we gotta get the mandatory Bloodborne dash in there for no reason as well, because originality is fake..
Probably because overhaul modders just want to create a fun mod. It's not supposed to be taken so seriously.
fanboy alert 🤡🤡
Meh, it's flashy and makes a lot of noise, but nothing compares to the good old Longsword.
