Friendly reminder that Garden of Eyes is mostly reused dark souls content, has a history of using other modder's stolen content, and is a literal scam. You have to pay money just to access it, meaning you have to buy it again every time it gets updated. Not to mention charging money for a Elden ring mod is ILLEGAL, and could cause a huge amount of problems for the entire modding community. Do not support Garden of Eyes. It is a greedy, lazy cash grab that puts the modded soulsborne community at risk. Get Convergence instead. Actual new content, actual good balance, and completely free.

It's just a content dump with nothing original. The Steeple bosses aren't original, and are literally ripped from Bloodborne of an unused boss. All animations remain the same as the unused boss and the models are just slightly altered from the unused boss.
It is very dangerous for us. I work on the Convergence mod, and it is very dangerous for them to be charging for it. Although all modding is technically illegal, fromsoft doesn’t care because all it does is drive more people to buy the game and we aren’t making money directly off it. But what Garden of Eyes is doing could jeopardize the entire community
Friendly reminder that Convergence has 320 new spells (themed with the class in mind), 27 new classes that have themed mechanics around the spells, reworked progression system, totally reworked locations, new unique bosses, new weapon animations (including a weapon that transforms if you one hand or two hand it), built in compatible with seemless, and a lot more. Convergence is subscription worthy. GoE doesn't look like it is doing enough when you compare it to free mods like convergence, reforged, ascended or reborn.

The weapon mods and movests are nice, the new boss fights and reworked shard bearers are all super nice, the new locations are way above what you woukd expect from a modder, and beimg able to bring in bosses from the other souls games are freaking cool. The mod pack has wayyyyyy more content than anything else on the market. Its wuality is only beaten by clever, clever is mod king. Convergence is laterally just a build hunters wet dream. I never have and never will give a shit about builds. Its dumb many people cap themselves at levels and only make certain skills available to themselves and spend two hours going through the incredibly lazy manner in which convergence introduces its content. Like come on giving people a checkmlist with warp points basically just makes it elden ring the board game. That shit is lame and the content is even more lame.
