    I have a genetic mutation on gene ADPRHL2 . Please specify the complementary DNA of mutation :
    ADPRHL2 gene : (NM_017825.2) c.[14C>T];[14C>T] (p.[Ala5Val];[Ala5Val])
    Many thanks. It helps for CRISPR .

    I have a doubt mam... In 4.15 u have said that the lymphocytes are taken out from the patients... But they are immunodeficient(SCID) ... Then how come they have LYMPHOCYTES

    U told that Without ADA B and T lymphocytes are not produced. How come ADA was induced in her lymphocytes??

    • @SanjayKumar-mu9qo
      @SanjayKumar-mu9qo 6 лет назад

      Promud Das exactly ! I was wondering too

    • @ribinkilambu8845
      @ribinkilambu8845 6 лет назад

      Lymphocyes was taken from.the patients and genetically engeneered with synthesized ADA Then again infused to the body.

    • @promuddas7934
      @promuddas7934 6 лет назад +2

      @@ribinkilambu8845 u r missing the point here.. in order to extract lymphocytes.. one must contain na! Ab ADA hai hi nai so lymphocytes kaha se aayenge?

      How🤔🤔

    • @Wowreactions-i3k
      @Wowreactions-i3k 6 лет назад +1

      I think an improper gene would still produce marginal amounts of lymphocytes and they could be harvested. Because no individual can survive till 4 years of age without cell meditated immunity.

    Mam my question is after the birth of child if we supply the lymphocytes with ADA Will it be a permanent cure to the problem.. or it is only possible in the fetal stage??

    • @aakashupadhyay1247
      @aakashupadhyay1247 7 лет назад

      Arkaprava Bhattacharya .. according to ncert it can be permanently cured...at early embryonic stage....

    • @anushkavatsa2680
      @anushkavatsa2680 6 лет назад

      Arkaprava Bhattacharya look if we supply lymphocytes with zygote stage and it will go out next mitosis forms 2 cell which will contain lymphocytes then 4 which also will have lymphocytes then 8,16, 32,64.................... That is a complete foetus having lymphocytes will form so we don't have to give it to each and every cell it will automatically go in all cell by normal mitosis
      But
      If u do it in grown up stage then u have to give it to all cells of body ( which should have lymphocytes as major function) that is million cells so it is very difficult and it(lymphocytes) will finish very soon after doing their work but see in zygotic stage it will go to other cell by division it will also go in second case but the ratio is 100: 5(aur less) so it is easy and comfortable to apply it to zygotic stage

    • @anushkavatsa2680
      @anushkavatsa2680 6 лет назад

      Arkaprava Bhattacharya this question is not for lymphocytes bcoz u can give it from. Outside but for other difficient substances which are needed in each and every cell are used for this

    Hi Doc,
    My name is Jugal Kishore. I am 44 years old. I am suffering from muscular distrophy. I am on bed and can't walk at all. Is there any treatment possible with the help of Gene therapy.
    If yes, then how much are chances that i will be able to walk again on my own.
    Awaiting for your reply.
    Regards
    Jugal Kishore
