  • Here's a quick video showing how to make Low Poly Characters in Character Creator 3 using InstaLOD Remesher! If you to learn one small detail from this video then it did it's job!     Hey man, great video. Do you know how to get the hair in CC3 to look the same in Unity? It looks crappy when I try to import, but everything else looks perfectly fine. Thanks.

    How do I get instaLOD? I tried to use it, says upgrade to pipeline edition. Tried to search for pipeline edition on the site, no results

    how is 30000 for a character considered low poly?

      Compared to 350,000 or more that pretty Low Poly don’t you think? I guess not! That’s low poly enough for me! You can lower if you want… 7, 5 thousand! It’s a free country!

      @@djjuanito3863 yeah im not complaining about it. Do whatever you like. I just figured low poly term should be what it sounds like.. low poly. Aka minecraft etc

      @@JohnnyCashOriginal I’m looking at it from the movie production perspective, not video game… all my characters have to be some what presentable! ;)

      @@djjuanito3863 ah ok, yeah I hear you. That makes more sense from a non gaming env perspective

      @@JohnnyCashOriginal Minecraft is a horrible example Johnny :D its like 50 polygons or less for a character :D its just boxes, even a phone can run a scene with 50-10.000 polygon characters, polygons are not that expensive, textures are.
