I started doing this during lockdown , I've dabbled a little but now over 60k a year and I'm 100% thinking of giving up work now. On a normal week can turn over £800 on my Sunday sales but then at xmas that can shoot up to £2k without even trying.

Sorry for the late reply, but thank you for the comment! It’s definitely stressful at times, but still beats the 9-5. Nothing comes easy in business, years of learning what to sell, how to sell it, it all comes quite natural after some time and you get into the flow. But yes, still some buyers out there that like to try and ruin your day no matter what 😆
Yes, it can be extremely difficult, especially as you get zero help from ebay and their policies acutually encourage scammers. We have our own site now and get literally NONE of the problems we had with ebay. No fake "missing" or "damaged" item claims, no forced free returns, no system that automatically sides with the scammers and so on. If you don't encourage people to play the system they won't but ebay don't care because it's not their money.
Why are people worried. Literally minus what you paid from what you sold it for. Do this for all items you have your gross profit. Deduct your packaging supplies, fuel, and postage costs. There you have it your profit for the period. Pay your relevant tax and live your life.
