Yeah a lot of these are pretty common things that goths already hear and we hear them so much that it doesn’t offend us anymore it just annoys us.

There isn't really much else to make fun of about goths.
Somehow knowing that you did this while swimming in the hormone seas of pregnancy makes it even more impressive and definitely funnier.
Love your hair! I think today's generation has a big misunderstanding of what a roast is. It feels more like bullying now. But they don't want to use that term so they're calling it roasting. It's not the same thing.

I actually cannot believe we live in a world where a person can say the worst things to a complete stranger, from anywhere in the planet. And why would anyone want to? Social media really is one of the worst ideas in human history. It’s like road rage for the internet. She is BEAUTIFUL and FANTASTIC!! And I’m not into the goth thing at all. Lowkey disappointed in a lot of the roasting comments - SO many of them were extremely uncreative and went for the most obvious things possible, and a good few were things that someone like her would clearly take more as a compliment than a roast :P

I originally thought most of it was going to be ironic since some of the stuff I've seen there are at that point where I can't tell if they're sarcastic or not... until I remembered that it was reddit, one of the place with the worst types of people when it comes to being a total dick. @@Allison_Hart Ah, it works and doesn't work - it depends on the persons involved. Negging is sometimes a fun form of flirting, but it has to be done in the same way a good roast is. It has to have humour and it can't go too far, once you've dug a bit too deep all the fun is gone and it becomes extremely awkward. I am female, btw.

Some people are just mean as hell. There's a difference between commenting on one's fashion/style appearence and saying "I don't like your piercings" or "the red on your hair sucks" or whatever, but it's not cool to criticize someone's body shape/weight/size of breasts. Some of the roasts were funny, some were just mean... like... people don't understand roasting. If it just sounds mean, and is completely unoriginal, it's not a roast. If it's unique, involves wit, and is actually funny... it's a roast.
I'll also say, totally hot.

You do realize some people using Reddit may even be 12 years old right? Not everyone on the internet it an adult.
It takes real courage to be openly different and seeing you live your life exactly how you want, regardless of negative judgments, is inspirational. People will always use the same insults towards women, fat, saggy, old, Daddy issues etc regardless of how a woman looks and knowing nothing about them. I pitty the people on the Internet who take time out to be unnecessarily cruel in comments, what awful lives they must lead to use hate to try to make themselves feel better. The only day that is not Halloween is Oct 31st. I don't do my make up, I dress up like a unimaginative stiff, in my off the shelf brand clothing. I then pretend I am one of them, being all fake happy and interactive... creeping them out, it is a joy that needs to be experienced by every goth.

I'll never understand why people think "artificial" on the outside means you're shallow/artificial on the inside? Have they met like 2 people in their lives, or do they refuse to re-evaluate such beliefs?
actually, most people that are artificial on the outside and want to mutilate their bodies with tattoos or piercings or artificial hair colour are driven to that by some kind of insecurity and often even hatred for their natural self. There is a connection between wearing copious amounts of makeup and insecurity/neuroticism.
