“There’s no way I wasn’t getting this scary teddy for my child” 💀🤣 I agree! Every child deserves the chance to own a spooky toy that they look back on with a mixture of love and mild terror. This bear is too cute to be terrifying though, so you’ll have to up the ante scare wise with something like a horrifying easter bunny from the 70s, at some point.
My brothers ex owned a Chucky doll and both of their kids absolutely lived this ugly horror doll. It was just soft and small enough to be carried around by a toddler. Definitely got them a few weird looks.

I have a kid and I’m still living vicariously through her!! I love her fashion, and I know this kiddo is going to have a wonderful fashion sense too. I think there’s a lot of negative towards alternative people in general and I wouldn’t criticize them for their content either way. Just happy to support these creative people

I'm 15 weeks pregnant with my baby boy, I'm terrified to buy anything or even think about it due to a history of miscarriages, but I slipped up and started scoping out the bat onesie and swaddle today. I'm afraid I jinks myself, but holy cow once he gets here, I am definitely going to be going crazy with the black clothing! I hope you are enjoying motherhood so far!
Keep positive, I too am pregnant. Just reached my 21st week. After 8 miscarriages. Its a hard journey, but it so worth it. I too was afraid of buying in case the pregnancy didn't work out, but it did! And I'm having a little girl! Your pregnancy will work out too. Just stay positive and honestly, if something just looks to adorable to pass up, get it! 😆

Just get it. Have fun. I'm not going to tell you not to think this way because, truth is.. it's really fucking hard not to worry while you're pregnant. Just do your best. Know that chances for miscarriage decrease the longer you go. Keep your hopes up.

As a mother of a little girl myself, I never understand why there are so many baby and toddler clothes in white and other light colours. As you pointed out, black also goes with everything and it also hides the inevitable stains sooo much better!

The only thing I did completely contradicting all of my beliefs is baby clothes. I wear only black clothes for the last century, and my style evolved from over accessorised goth to dark minimal and sleek. While I was pregnant, I very loudly declared my utter hate for baby clothing, in all the pastels and gender-specific pink and blue variants. I said specifically that no pastel thingy will enter my home ever.... Until one day I had a revelation of sorts. I just realised that I do not want to impose my sense of style and my exclusiveness for black clothes onto my baby girl. Beacuse my style became over years, and she is a child and children are by their very nature colorful and imaginative. She should get to know every color of the rainbow and to love every color. If I impose my style on her, I will be doing exactly what my mother has done FOR YEARS to me trying to make me a little lady version of herself and I HATED IT. And that is precisely the one thing I want to avoid, making the same mistakes my parents did to me. So, on the contrary to all my beliefs, I do like all the baby goth clothes BUT I decided to dress my baby girl in every single color of the world (me still being my old black self) and she be the cutest lil colorful babybat :D

Everything is so adorable! I have friends who are married and are also goth. Ironically their last name is Webb so when they had a baby they named him Spider Dark Webb and this is was in the early 2000s before the internet was as big. Anyways they used a lot of black pinstriped clothes and DIYed everything. She i embroidered lots of his clothes with skulls,bats, and stars but he always looked adorable and is still goth to this day.

@@kirstym6880 yeah it really is. the hospital they had him at back in 2000 or 2001 tried to fight them on naming him that but they couldn't stop them by law so they got to name him what they wanted to. The nurses were a bunch of Karen's i suppose and just wanted to give them a hard time so as soon as they brought the baby home social services came to check out their living situation and of course everything was fine but still it was awful because they were goth in a small town they got judged that harshly.

Love the Goth style, but when my daughter was born I liked the princess dresses and cute clothes too much to go for black. Once she was albe to pick her own stuff first she loved anything with dinosaurs on it 😁✌️. And loved shopping with a toddler with her own sense of fashion. Super cute. But now she is big!

I don't plan on having kids for awhile. BUT, when I do, they'll be the most spookiest and goth kids ever. I like to thrift stuff for my baby sister around Halloween and buy her spooky clothes. I've told my mom to save them for me for the future
This video was heart-warming, and it definitely made me dreamy about my future child. Funny thing is, I originally never dared to think about wanting a child in a human form, but my partner awoke a really deep feeling of connection and a one-of-a-kind desire - I haven't been able to look back. We will totally dress up the child in the same spooky way!

If anyone gets snitty about dressing a baby in black (not that you should give a damn, and I doubt you will lol) the whole muted color and pale pastels is actually not great for babies. They get shoved into them by well meaning people who say they want calm and 'cheerful' colors for baby - but babies have crap vision. It's all just a big ol'blur for a good chunk of time. One of the easiest things for them to start learning to focus on are bold graphic black and white then adding some bright colors to help them follow shapes and start to learn what is what. You aren't just dressing your beautiful little one in gorgeous clothes - you are being an amazing parents and those who might get weird about it, well. They obviously don't want babies to have better chances at stretching their little minds early. Toss in how small she is, anything that helps her focus and make life easier for her (how terrifying it must be to be that tiny and essentially blind!) is amazing. Instant "Get thee away, mortals, you will bow before my baby one day!" parent points! lol Congrats by the way.

My mum used to put me in small versions of grown-up clothes when I was little; she made most of them herself because she thought the regular kids' clothes were silly. Looking at old pictures now I can say I was definitely the best dressed toddler around! No acrylic clothes in screaming colours with ridiculus cartoon prints - and now I'm a fashion designer ;) I'm sure your daughter will also appreciate you made her look classy once she's old enough to grasp that kind of thing.

Personally, I was lucky to have a sibling who procreated and now have a small nibling! Having niblings or friends with babies is a great alternative! ;)

@@Je551kuhhh fortunately that decision is biologically out of my hands, so I can’t be impulsively swayed by sweet little goth baby clothes too awful much lol. But thankfully I’m “auntie” to several friends kids so I can buy all the cute things for them and get it out of my system haha

I was looking for clothes a few weeks back and I saw two baby clothes that i immediately thought would look adorable on Severine. One was a small shirt with "My First Halloween" on it, the other was a black and grey sort of dress that said "I love my witchy mom" or something like that.
That Etsy shipping is horrendous. I wanted something for my deceased Dad and the shipping was as much as the item. I had to pass.

Black baby clothes is sooo hard to find. My sister isn’t gothic but she wanted black leggings and a black cardigan for her daughter when she was a baby. She found some after but it was really hard. The clothes you have is so beautiful. She’s going to look like a little doll. 🖤❤️🖤❤️

While watching this I keep reminding myself. As long as my baby is healthy... but these girl clothes are making me hope my baby is healthy AND a Girl. I was looking at halloween themed girl clothes on Amazon just now an felt a thud an started crying (my baby has only kicked when their dad/my boyfriend has his hand on my tummy) I stopped looking at clothes. An now I'm like please if this one isn't a girl let me give birth to a healthy baby girl one day

The only sad thing is is she will grow like a weed and you'll have to do like I do and put all your little one's best clothing pieces in a shadow box for sentimental reminders I'm in the current process of making a shadow memory box myself and my son is 7 years old now. I've kept his name card from the hospital , the first onesie they put him in at the hospital, the hospital bands, some of the ultrasounds and a hoodie with a cute quote I like. I'll give it to him when he's grown as a keepsake maybe add memories to it as he grows up which he's doing fast. Love your videos congratulations on your little cute baby bat!

I've been looking for goth/rock/punk/alt clothes for my baby lady! It's so hard to find some thats not in outrageous prices! I do like the girly baby clothes but I want to give her a little more variation in fashion. ❤ I obviously wanna twin it with my baby girl. 😂

My baby is 1 month old and we dress her in old fashioned clothes, boys clothes (i class them as "gender neutral kids clothing" but normal people only see it as boy clothing), gothic clothes and cheesy/cute Halloween clothing. Me and my husband hate all that pink frilly shit 🤢 though I have admittedly found a couple cute dresses and a cute raspberry themed baby set but my husband wouldn't let me by it as we already have a years worth of clothes 😅
