Check out this slow motion breakdown of bar muscle up technique to help you get bar muscle ups. I'll show you the various different steps you have to move through to reach your BMU in slow motion so you don't miss a thing!
We'll go over the jump to the bar, the hollow body position, arch, the shoulder lever, hip pop & pull and finally the fast sit up. I'll also show you a tip with your grip which is a game changer!

Great for CrossFit, but not really for strength or callisthenics. I suppose its great for beginners who want to start the skill.

I did the muscle up for the first time yesterday without the kipping
How dafuq you did it without kipping?
I can only do jumping muscle up, but without jumping,with kipping or not i cant do it,help please?
@@denisvasilev6921 just practise with kipping first and as you get better at the exercise you also need to get stronger
speaking of sharks my hometown of Matawan nj had a Shark attack in 1916 which inspired the movie Jaws...Your Videos are great help but as soon as I get my first bar muscle up I will definitely send a video..Mario

Great vid except I don't really see the hip pop you were referring to. Does it happen before you start coming back with arms and shoulders up/away or after that step?
the hip pop should be happening right about the same time that you're pulling up towards the bar - so after the up and away. we actually have a full video on just the hip pop, if that helps - ruclips.net/video/dbQFeM3nvDA/видео.html
Favorite Movie: GLORY. Btw, I am 71 and can do 13 clean pull-ups. Still no BMU but when I finally do it will post it! Some day! Lol.
My problem isn't the first bar muscle up, it's stringing multiple together. Specifically from lockout up top on the muscle up and then coming down.
