I do love that they used the original song"Rain" in the live-action. This is a good example of how to do a remake of an already established series, unlike...changing the plot
I don’t think they understood this is a spaghetti western in space. The duster, the empty abandoned church, spike didn’t come to save to girl he came to kill vicious. The entire vibe is just way off in the live action and he doesn’t even have a gun on him? What type of cowboy would need to pick up a gun?
The Vicious dialogue about flowing blood and such comes off super cringe considering we just spent the whole season seeing him as a huge bitch. No menace to him at all
Man netflix just dont get the character of spike. Look at the anime as he fall he's face show no emotion at all. Because for spike his always been dead way back. The anime has more mystery and depth just by the angle of the camera. Netflix is so stupid to even try to touch this master piece.

There are just soo many obvious issues when you have a side by side comparison. For one, the dialog and action is hugely rushed. There's no care given to the emotion of the scene; allowing each word and feeling sink in and pervade the scene. It's a recreation of a scene without understanding the underlying motivations and emotions. Do they even understand WHY Spike is fighting Vicious? Spike doesn't care about himself; he isn't here to save anyone. He's here to right a wrong he created in his past: running away and allowing Vicious to take over. He's here to clean up a mess he created. If they means his life is forfeit, then that's how it is. Spike is not a man who cares about anything anymore.
